The League of Einstenian Transitors, otherwise known simply as "The League", or "The Hyperspace People", is a group of smugglers, lowlifes, mad scientists, and terrorists cleverly disguised as a legitimate institution.

The League is a commercial hyperspace venture maintaining their lifestyle through force of arms and realpolitik. Due to its highly autonomous nature, it is closer to a social club for its leaders than any formal organization, but its constituent members work closely together enough for it to look like one to an outsider.
It has many, many commercial interests, enough to rival the kieretsu of Kusari. The League's Senior Staff members, on their way to the top, have gathered unto themselves special interest groups cleverly disguised as something useful. Here are a few of them, as well as what they allegedly do:- TITAN-Holt Products. (Flagship: THP|R&D-Concordia) TITAN-Holt Products is Senior Staff member Willow Holt's private manufacturing firm, with its subsidiary Concordia Biotics producing derivative equipment off of the late Andy Burnett's research. Concordia Biotics is notable for its complete and utter lack of anything resembling ethical sourcing of warm bodies and spare organs.
- Exitus Wing. (Subfaction tag: THP|EX- )
Exitus Wing is a private military contracting firm whose entire membership was quietly absorbed into The League. Its numbers were swelled by thrill-seeking off-duty Brick crewmen and the odd Senior Staff member, and as such, it has become the premiere security group guarding League assets and interests, as well as ensuring a more personal means of ensuring that payment is prompt for goods and services.
The Grand Republic of New Hampshire is a (discontinued in the face of New Hampshire being cut) RP project only included here for the sake of completeness. It was intended to serve as a Realpolitiking "problem for later" independent micronation that would owe its continued not being annexed by Liberty or Rheinland to the wars they would be fighting after a bloody war for independence, including Molly-equivalent raids across Liberty and a NEMP to the Whitefield. Herein is what would have been.
NOTE: Survey & Extracting Corp. is listed here yet again, as its original intent was to represent the mining teams aggregating the water from the nebula to feed Colebrook's atmosphere.- The Republican Guard (Tag: [G~ ID: Gammu AI) The Republican Guard is the stalwart defenders of the Grand Republic. When The League, in conjunction with the Aeon C'Bal, found the Laconia Catacombs, they wasted no time in deftly manipulating the drones within to serve their purposes. Until a link to a greater consciousness is made, the Republican Guard serves the Grand Republic, through Colossus.
- Survey & Extracting Corp. (Tag: S&E} ID: Miner) The Survey & Extraction Corporation is a collection of miners hired by Elroy Carpenter to aggregate the Bethlehem Nebula so as to provide the huge amounts of Water necessary to terraform Planet Colebrook.
- TITAN-Holt Products TITAN-Holt Products, under the auspices of The League, is the primary manufacturer and importer of all goods the colonists on Colebrook need to survive. It also provides something almost resembling an actual government.
- The Battleship Ketchikan The death of the author is the birth of the reader.

The League tends to engage in various scientific endeavors; most of those have been folded into TITAN-Holt Products and the R&D think-tank on the Event Horizon.
The "LINGUA" Project is a psychic lightning rod/tesla coil intended to be a means of eventually emulating the Nomad Hive Mind, such as it is understood to be by Concordia field research teams. As it is, it can only crudely replicate thoughts and drives, with no perceived controls over the subjects in a [REDACTED] radius. (e.g. the thought "eat something" sends a mental image of a person who looks like the subject consuming their favorite food, with the desire associated with consuming food entirely coming from the subject(s). In simpler terms, the subjects interviewed who expressed a desire to eat the food were already hungry.)
Considering that the visible components are what amounts to a brain in a jar and a radio dish, there's not much to look at. However, upon inspection, the flash-grown (and therefore useless for implantation into a human subject) brain has had a large portion of its organic material replaced with Optronics and minified chem-plants. This allows it to functionally simulate a human brain on a chemical level as well as effectively "transcribe" and reproduce psychic emissions.
It has found a use for the Nomad entity known as Kessereya to "send mail" to its/her associates, but beyond that, it is largely to impress any investors in the event further funding is required for any reason.
The UBOS (Universal Biological Operating System) is an attempt to mechanize and reproduce brain signals to things like wings, bio-projectile throwers, and entire starships, that the human brain cannot directly control. Its efforts are a constantly ongoing reason for League assets to be interested in making money.
It has borne fruit in the form of TITAN, who has recently been properly re-socialized into TITAN-Holt Products. Truly, the League overcomes.
The THP-219 "Itinerant" Mobile Shipyard is intended to be a shipyard attached to a Bustard chassis, moved by Jump Drive to provide emergency repair services to any ship it can Jump to in five minutes or less. Ships of this type are heavily restricted, on the level of "exactly two of them exist, and one of them is in Unioner hands because they made it".
There are two separate projects with that name, but both have the same goal: Strengthening Exitus assets in the field.
The first is the designing of new field assets for Exitus personnel. Codenamed "Thunderstrike", "Teratorn", and "Intervention", they are expected to become the premiere ships of the line to enforce League interests Sirius-wide.
The second New-Model Warship is a heavy gun platform to be deployed at a semi-fixed location to provide heavy fire support in its region. Construction is ongoing in a secure facility.
