Biography and disappearance synoposis

Lieutenant Sophia Victoire, assigned to MRG command cruiser Aurora was last seen on patrol duty on the 18th of the current month. Born to a noble family on New Paris, Sophia graduated her classes with honors and spent time living life in luxury. A short time after, with the breakthrough of Gallic forces in Leeds, she was enlisted within the Royal Navy fighter academy. Belonging to a prestigious family, Sophia was treated well by her instructors and received well treatment by Royal forces.

On 15.12.740 AGS, she received assignment to report to the Castres battlegroup centered in Leeds. A short time after, she was transferred to one of the newly commissioned Triumph-class destroyers. RNS-Aurora, belonging to the Marine Royale forces, was a moderately armed command ship for forward forces apart of Castres battlegroup. After Royalist forces made their attack to secure a staging ground in New London, Sophia was deployed along with her wing to defend the jumping battle force from incoming threats.

Amongst the fighting, Sophia's wing intercepted multiple bombers and a wing of Bretonian scout fighters. Once the battle force had jumped in, a force of some four gunboats and numerous attack wings were to force a diversionary assault near the Newcastle jumpgate. Attacking the retreating force around Battleship York, the diversionary force suffered heavy casualties, losing all but one of it's operational gunboats and two wings of it's attacking fighters.

The diversion was a success, pulling Bretonian wings and light capitals away from the Castres beachhead force. However, this left Sophia and her remaining allies trapped with no safe evacuation route. Pinned and panicked, the remaining flights decided to scatter and return to the battlegroup after the Bretonians had given up. The wings retreated to Newcastle, scattering towards the various ice fields and nebulae. Sophia and her wingmen fled to the eastern Barrier Nebula. This would prove fatal however, as an interceptor wing disabled her and her wingmens ships.

Stranded and unable to call for help. Sophia was unable to raise Castres or Aurora for aid. Days later a scouting wing sent from Castres to locate the missing fighters would find Sophia and her wingmens wrecks, but the pilots were never located. The scout wing report a jumphole nearby, but that was the last communication received from the wing.
