We have come to the end of the latest Quarterly Check. Here are the Results of those that failed to achieve the minimum required time:

Those Official Factions that were warned in the previous check and have also failed this check, have lost their Officialdom and will be removed from the Tracker.

Those Official Factions that failed the last check, but passed this check will be taken off the Warning if they proceed to pass the next Quarterly Check.

Those Official Factions that have failed the Quarterly Check, for the first time, are now under Warning and will have to meet the minimum requirement for the next two Checks.

The 1 Unofficial Faction, listed, has failed to achieve the minimum requirement and will therefore be removed from the Activity Tracker.
Tried to ask in two threads (including admin feedback) without success, maybe this one will work finally

(02-26-2018, 11:12 PM)Laura C. Wrote: [ -> ]I would like to ask for clarification. The announcement mentioned that if an official faction does not meet requirements, it will receive a warning and if its activity does not improve over the course of the next quarter-year, it will be removed. Quite clear so far. However, in the thread about results of the first activity check for last quarter of 2017 was stated in admin green:

Those Official Factions that have failed the Quarterly Check, for the first time, are now under Warning and will have to meet the minimum requirement for the next two Checks.
So what are the rules? If official faction does not meet requirements in a check, than meet them in the next check but fails again at the another check, what will happen? Will they stay warned or will they lose officialdom?

Apart from that, it seems that this question of mine was left unanswered:
(10-02-2017, 04:30 PM)Laura C. Wrote: [ -> ]What is definition of active member? It used to be player with at least hour logged per month, is it still the same or did it change since activity checks are now made per quarter, so for example to three hours per quarter or one hour per quarter?

And one more question regarding the issue of activity checks - is the Official Faction Hardship Program still a thing?
If you fail a check, you are required to pass both of the following checks ie the next 2 Quarterly Checks. If you fail either, after failing the first, then you lose Officialdom.

This is done to stop the possible ping-pong effect, of fail the first (receive a warning), pass the second (come off warning), fail the third (receive warning), pass the fourth etc. The ping-pong effective would mean that a Faction, realistically, need only achieve 3 days Activity in any 6 month period to remain Official (granted the 3 day would need to be in the second set of 3 months).

Once you have passed 2 consecutive checks, after failing the first, you come off the warning.

No, there is plenty of time to achieve the required time over an extended period. If Official Factions cannot constantly meet the minimum requirement, then it is deemed that there is no purpose in prolonging the agony.

There are plenty of Factions that do not an Official version and the Game goes on. Getting rid of the 'dead wood', gives a chance for the new to nurture.

Hopefully that answers your question?
I take it the warnings from this thread were not factored into "First failure"?

You mean this, probably: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...tid=154024

I take it that you mean that two of those Factions were warned in September?

That is indeed true, but at that time, it was stated that if they passed the next activity check, then they would be taken off the warning.

Quote:*If an official faction does not meet these requirements, they will receive a warning. If their activity does not improve over the course of the next quarter-year, they will be removed.

But this effectively gives the ping-pong effect mentioned, above.

In January's Activity Check, it was mentioned that Factions would need to pass the next two ACs to be removed from the warning (a failure in any of the two proceeding checks would mean a loss of Officialdom).

Because those two Factions failed when it was just one AC to pass, it was deem unfair to punish them under the new Rules. So because they passed the end of Q4 17, they have started again, in the process.
