Many IDs have lines saying that you can attack ships considered hostile to your ID/house.

Since reputation infocards are pretty much horrendously out of date, what is the final indicator of who is actually hostile?
Liberty, Bretonia can attack Gallic corps. And vice versa, basically.

EDIT: Enemies of certain IDs you can find under your reputation menu.
Enemies of houses can be found in: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=8584
Find official faction which represents the ID and look on ongoing treaties and messes.

I'm advise just use searh by posts in their section of forum, mostly fast way to get actual information, if they did any official notifications. And of course search in comm chanels to more understanding of situation.

For example, coalition have cease fire with Bretonia and neutral to UN now.
Seems like a mess. Reputation menus are mostly outdated. Some house laws do not define hostiles and there are cases of unreciprocated hostility. Even official faction pages are sometimes neglected. Going after individual comms makes things even messier. It also begs the question of which is the final authority in the case of conflict.
Final authoriy is official factions, which represent the ID. Their word is law.

If only factions could keep their laws easily updated so that things like this wouldn't be an issue...
