The Germania as the Unioners call this hijacked Bismarck-class Battleship was formerly well known as the RNC Odin, a Rheinwehr Battleship used for Home Defense in Rheinland in the
Rheinland-Kusarian War of 800-801 AS. It´s service for the Unioners is to show presence and to protect and fight for the interests of the Unioners and works like it´s older Sister-ship the Westfalen, as a mobile military operational outpost and sub-cell for the Imperiale Marine of the Unioners, although it is working more for one Cell at the moment around the Koeln/Cologne System. it´s recommend to avoid contact at all costs! The Unioners won´t tell much about their Capital Vessels and Technology but a storyteller mentions a tale of a legendary battle once happened in the Alsterfeld...
The story behind the hijack of the Germania goes a long way back and was more a lucky surprise for the Unioners and chance to expand their Military Systems. The story itself is pretty unknown but the Unioners kept it as one of the best strikes against the Military and also eventually took a important role to bring out the main vessel of a faction, which helped rescuing Humanity from a "Dark Unknown Menace". A call from a friend of the Bundschuh Rebellion in Frankfurt a so called former Military Veteran contacted the Unioners of the Hamburg Zelle to do patrols with heavy armed weapons around the Alsterfeld, because a chance of higher RNC Vessesl Contact were rumored. Confused about having nothing on their Scanners around one of their Secret Cells in Hamburg, the Unioners trust him anyway, because he mentioned that his recon guards saw some vessels being cloaked around there and he is already known as a friend to Unlawfuls in Rheinland to help in the fight against this Corrupt Broken Regime. They armed two bomber wings and three fighter wings to launch a patrol around the Alsterfeld, working together with one of the special guards of that Ex-Military Veteran, suddenly they received from a more libertonian like netcode a call for help and start to see two blinking spots on their scanners at the Frankfurt Jumphole, they rushed after the call to this point and were shocked to see that a fight already started. It is the RNC Odin a new for the War against Kusarian for this time high-tech state of the art Bismarck-class Battleship fighting a never seen before battleship vessel. The Captain of the Ship asked the Unioner Squads for help to escort the Battleship vessel out of Hamburg and mentioned that it could normally cloak and disappear, but the Odin got the technology to counter this cloaking device, a small amount of fast laid gravimetrical mines also damaged the engine of the so called OCV Osiris which delayed it to get out away with faster methods like hyperdrive.
In exchange for the help the Captain of the Osiris will mobilize some Marines and told the Unioners to bring some Troops aswell for a "Hijacking Operation". The Leader of the Gustav Wing accepted and told the other Wings known as Cerberus Wing, Warhawk Wing and Eisenhammer Wing to launch heavy torpedo bombardments on the Odin, the Odin called for help and lauched Interceptor Wings, as reinforcements two Rheinland Cruisers came by which patrolled other parts of the Alsterfeld first. In just merely minutes a wild chaotic fight unleashed in the Alsterfeld and the itchy fingers of the former leader of the Hamburg Zelle aka Paul Michael Grossweiler was really out at all costs to capture this vessel, beside the fact to get another large capital vessel, the technology to finally detect cloaked ships was also in dire need fo the Unioners to survive in Rheinland Space. Sending two Ragnars fully packed with troops to invade the Docks of the Odin he told the wings to focus to paralyze the Odin. The Unioners gave the Osiris the Coordinates to get to Bering and set battle speed towards it, the Odin on it´s back and around the smaller snubcrafts banging eachother out there heads. The fight goes on another Wing sent by Grossweiler told the Osiris and other Fighter Wings to come to a specific traps were they set some EMP Mines which will immobilize the Odin. The other bomber wings shall shoot the telecommunication systems and focusing on secondary defense turrets. The plan worked out and the Marines shot their way through to the docks, other small vessels docked aswell to help capturing the whole ship. The Marines and Unioner Troops fought together through the dozens of decks. Splitted into three Main Groups, one was to capture the command bridge, one other secures the paths and docks and the last shall capture the engine rooms.
The atmosphere of the scenery on deck was pretty loomy and mysterious, because there were some mysterious grows of mysterious organic crystalline stuff, also the eyes of the Guards glew violet and behaved strange for humans. The Order Marines told the Unioners about the nomads and infection raids the nomads started to slowly destroy all of humanity. Clentaminating and puring the decks using "Flammenwerfers". The Troops fought more against strange weed and tentacle like stuff, rather than other Military troops. It seems the weeds took control over the most parts of battleship, which made it actually easier to capture the whole ship. In the end the Joint Marines of Order and Unioners managed to pure the whole ship of that strange stuff and obtained the control. After the Cooldown they mobilized the battleship and set cruise speed towards the Bering Jumphole...
Finally arrived at the Bering Jumphole they jumped alltogether out and moved the Ship in the depths of the Tanner belt somewhere to repair. The Order thanked the whole Unioners for helping to get the Osiris out and shared some classified informations about the plans of the Military. The whole Unioners celebrates this day as the "Tag der Arbeiterwacht". Total casualties of this battle were the lose of the Eisenhammer and Cerberus wing, which made a total of around 12 Unioner snubs, one Ragnar raider got destroyed during the fight at the docks and three Order Wings got put out of action around 9 Anubis Fighters. The Odin launched all of its Valkyrie Wings, which made a total of 27 lost valkyries, some others managed to escape the fight with cloaking away from the fight... The Osiris however coninued it´s way to the Liberty Systems.
Although heavily damaged on some major decks the Unioners managed to repair the freshly captured Odin with Salvage bought from Junkers via some "classified trades" to Beaumont the Hamburg Cell have shown the Arbeitsdirektor the new Vessel. He ordered it to rename it to the KKS Odin and it shall protect the sphere of Interests around Bering and Hamburg for now. Around twenty years later with the major expanse of the interests to expand Zone of Influences in the southern parts of Rheinland, the commissioned to give the KKS Odin to the more newer Nightcrawler Cell in the Koeln/Cologne System to work as a mobile operation outpost in the northern nebulas. The new Commander is the Leader of the Nightcrawler Zelle herself, Mary Annelise Dross, although she got other plans to expand influence in Koeln/Cologne with the new obtained Battleship. To launch "Grossoffensiven" or "Great Raids" around Koeln/Cologne, the Nightcrawlers want to free all of Koeln, it is already a more loose controlled system, the second Sigma War benefits even more the chances, because Rheinland is to busy moving their Ships to the northern parts. To achieve another "Dresdensturm" is the main goal for the Nightcrawlers, like the Hessians conquereed most of Dresden, the Nightcrawler Unioners want to achieve something similar in Koeln/Cologne. Also for her own interests and not to connect the Ship with the Hessians, Mary renamed the KKS Odin into the KKS Germania. Nordic Mythology Names are more a thing the Hessians are known for at the moment plus it´s situated in the more southern parts of Rheinland, were Hessians got more activity so it makes sense, although the other Cells criticize the name to be a bit strange. However the Nightcrawlers doesn´t care much about that.
Nowadays the KKS Germania is the proud of Mary Annelise Dross and all of the Nightcrawlers and eventually will be used for some major conflicts in the southern parts of Rheinland. Working as a top-notch Battleship, even for already over zwenty years of service time it´s power is as strong as most other Capital Vessels of the Rheinwehr and already achieved some minor victories against RNC Vessels in Koeln/Cologne.
