Would it be possible to create a Cloak-like device, which would consume most of ships powercore, but in exchange would activate the so-known Ghost from singleplayer commands?

It should ghost your ship (note that I'm not speaking about making the ship invisible, but immaterial) just for a while, like 10 +/- secs, but it should also be rechargable instead of using ammo like cloaks do.

Example:

You ghost up.
You become immaterial for 10 seconds.
Once back material, the device will begin to recharge and it will take X amount of minutes/time.
Once it's charged again, you may ghost yourself up again.

Explainanation would be curving dimension in front of the ship for a slight glance of time making the vessel to teleport a short distance, while leaving a halo behind it.

Why tho?

I don't see the applications for this or how this could possible benefit gameplay.

Just an additional type of mountable equipment, an alternative one for eg. cloaks. Temporary (but short) dmg denial would be tricky and interesting in some situations. For instance, when you're playing the tank/distractor role withno actual need for providing dps yourself.
