Rheinlanders,
The Guild approaches you today with as much genuine concern for the wellbeing of the people of Rheinland as it holds for its own people.
The Rheinland Military has entered Sigma-21 and, without provocation, struck a joint Guild and Kishiro colonisation effort in orbit of Planet Saigon. The exact casualty figure is unknown but what is known is that dozens of innocent civilians have perished. Military operations in the system continue.

Our paramilitary has of course been activated in order to ensure the safety of GMG personnel who work tirelessly to ensure Sirius remains spaceborne. However, it has assumed a strictly defensive stance and despite all that has occurred will actively attempt to avoid all conflict with Rheinland ships as and when this may be possible.
The Guild still considers House Rheinland its friend and would like to return to the warm relations our two noble houses enjoyed previously. We have reached out to your government in an attempt to both understand and seek an end to any hostilities, the true cause of which remain unknown. We are not truly enemies, our economies are already suffering, good people are in danger and the more time and resources we spend on each other, the stronger our real, mutual enemies the Corsairs grow.
We mean you no harm and have no desire for this conflict. The Guild fully aims to prevent further bloodshed and bears no ill will to the people of Rheinland.
