Playing assignment on mega difficulty, total darkness and I cannot see anything.
A note, I am very nit-picky in horror games, also patient, so I will be sitting around waiting for the right moment in a few of these.

I'd suggest first F.E.A.R . It's a decent shooter and a decent horror. But for sure makes you feel sheit, which is a rare thing, thanks to it's grim atmosphere and visuals.
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is a nice piece of horror, but bad as shooter. Still would recommend, really dank experience, might try out.
