Some might say that it was taken over by the Coalition. Depends on which intro you prefer to believe. However, shouldn't really have an effect on most of Sirius...most of them would probably believe it to be Coalition controlled, anyways, even if it was destroyed (destruction happened after the sleepers left according to the extended intro).

Yes, because Igiss is following this extended intro to make the mod.
As such, the only coalition left is really in Sirius with the remains of humanity, really.

Aye. Sol got wrecked by a sun destroyer. (That big shiny Nomad ship). The Discovery mod has used that intro as cannon, thus destroying Sol in the process. (In our eyes)

Anddddd also remember that the single ship you see flying towards the sleepership that has landed is most likely the surviving young Admiral, or whatever, from Pluto. He, and probably others, survived the big boom and went to warn the Sirius folks.
Can only speculate on what happened after that, whether they believed him or even if they did, if it became public knowledge, was forgotten or simply covered up.

Yeah, never got that part. How do you survive a supernova? Supernova bomb shelter? I always thought all the planets went kapoof as well when they got hit by the shockwave. :mellow:

He said he survived on the dark side of Pluto. Pluto was probably just far enough away to avoid the shockwave, but still get blasted by gas and debris.

Whether or not Sol was destroyed won't affect Discovery at all, since I hear there are no plans to make a pathway to Sol anytime soon. Sol is only mentioned in the SCRA History I think.
