So i got an idea that may increase activity of the Military and Pirate ships. You all know that playing as Navy is not really attractive, you only log when there is something to shoot and because of that most traders are not defended. Even if you defend them you get nothing from that, its like you re working for free and you cant ask money from anyone unless you re pirate or freelancer.

So basically playing as pirate and freelancer far more attractive than Navy. So how about Navy and Police players get money during their play time. Of course its not gonna be same as trading or missions.

This will actually force player to stay logged in;

Navy/Police players will get 2.500.000 SC money every 20mins so that is 7.5Million every hour. If you destroy an Pirate ID ship (killing Pirate ID ship with RM ID) 1.5Million cash will be added to your next turn so you get 4.000.000 instead of 2.500.000.

If its hostile house faction like If you kill Liberty or Bretonian ship with Gallic ship you get 2.500.000.

I believe this will increase activity of the Navy/Police factions aswell as Pirates and House Wars.

Note: What i wrote is an example.

What do you guys think? If you guys have other ideas feel free to post.
Or official player factions without bounty board simply pay their pilots if they actually did something, be it help a trader, kill a pirate, write an MD.
So basically afk in your dreadnought and maybe do a few missions on the side for even more moneymaking?
I'd like to simply be able to offer credits to a navy/police character for their helpful scouting/escorting without them suddenly claiming "bribery."

If the navy/police won't accept cash, it'd be neat if they could at least point me to an account I can "donate" funds to.

Edit: I do see the concern about afk'ing in space to abuse the passive-over-time income, though.
it will actually trigger other factions to log. If you have better idea to keep House ships logged in, go on.

I suppose afk'ing as a navy/police character - knowing that it generates passive income - could simply be considered under the exploits/cheating rule, especially if they decide to fly 50k off-plane to do so. In that case, it could be taken care of via reporting the offending players (I'm not sure how many more reports per week that'd generate, however).
It would have to be for official factions only I guess. Not because I would not want indies to have it too, but because official factions and their members are much easier to make accountable in case of abuse (they are not allowed to afk in space already). Also, most of them are tagged so it´s much more harder to be in game unnoticed for a longer time. I assume it would be nearly impossible for admins to check if indies are not abusing the feature, because random checks would require way too much effort and time, and relying on reports would be quite unreliable because how can anyone know that the character named like John.Doe is a paid law enforcer farming money and not some common character which is allowed to afk in space freely, so such common-named character would go unnoticed.
Payment would motivate me to fly under police colors - official too (never liked standard vanilia military) though even I would say 7.5m per hour is over the top for just existing.
Well, 7.5m an hour for existing versus 40-80mil trading and even more doing missions, I don't see a huge issue with that.

Maybe pay more to snubcraft and gunboats and less to the capitals, at least until we figure out how to make it not work alongside missioning.
Well, there is a flag apparently that indicates that a player is doing a mission.... (hello mission bug on party invites). Might be able to check that if anything
