Greetings, I am Majin Moe. I am currently working as a Freelancer running a trade ship across Sirius. I recently started my business and am always looking for new trade opportunities. However I find that just running cargo here and there by my lonesome becomes quite tiring. I am interested in finding a Trade group to call home, but for now I will continue to seek out opportunities wherever they lie. I enjoy long hauls across Sirius, so I may not always be available, however if you happen to spot me on the neural net, feel free to say hi, or if you need something delivered, let me know.

I am currently running my routes in a Kusari Big Dragon. I am capable of hauling 3200 units of cargo and can defend myself from the pirates I encounter to ensure your cargo will be delivered on time, and secured. I am actually thinking of upgrading to a Serenity class with 3600 unit capacity soon.

(OoC) Hey everyone, I work 10 hours a day and have 5 hours of night class at college so I don't get to play much except on weekends. I would like to find a faction to join, preferably lawful, that has a trade focus. I wouldn't mind doing escort services with my other toon once it's been equipped properly.

IGNs:

Viperian - Trader

Viperious - Escort
Welcome to discovery, you've already got a head start posting in-character, good first impression.

There are, obviously, quite a few trade-focused groups in the game, so really which one you join comes down to what exactly you're looking for and what ship and sector aesthetic you prefer to work with. Right now, one of the most profitable trade routes in the mod is running gold and aluminum between rheinland and bretonia - however, this route requires hiring players to mine the ore for you in space, and they take a cut of the profits for doing so. If you havent yet, I highly suggest downloading Discord, and joining the community here: https://discord.gg/Sb2gnp

Mining-based routes will almost always outperform generic trade routes or even smuggling routes due to the necessity for having multiple players involved in the collection and transport of the commodities involved. There's a discord server specifically for requesting miners and/or traders (if you do any mining yourself), so that gameplay can be coordinated a little better. You can join that server here: https://discord.gg/g6gsUE

If you're looking for something a little more progressive and cutting edge than a standard trading faction, I highly recommend the Core. The Core is a player faction that is an extension of the bounty hunter's guild from the original freelancer - it began as an offshoot of the bounty hunter's guild, but became an entire unique faction completely separate from the BHG. The Core is explicitly interested in founding a new empire in the Omicron systems, and is a lawful (though often lawful-evil or chaotic-lawful) group. Much of the Core| is comprised of warships and combat craft, however they have a very active and well established division for trading, mining, and other support tasks known as APM (Advanced Products & Manufacturing). APM travels across almost all of Sirius supplying the Core and its allies with materials and resources, and is the organization responsible for constructing the Core's warships and combat craft. You can learn more about the core| and APM here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?fid=199
I think I remember you! Have you played before years ago, with the same ship names?
Hello Smile
Sorry Inferno, I've never played here before, but I use these names in all my games
