Every time I save a game in Discovery (playing SP without internet conexion) , it gets deleted. I read that the saved games must be taken from the My documents>My Games>Freelancer>Accts>Single Player folder, but when I try it doesn't work.

Any idea of how I can fix it? I have made any mistake?
As far as i know, if you're playing the same freelancer folder where is discovery installed, you can't play the SP.

Try it on a Freelancer clean instalation.
I'm having the same problem. Why does the launcher delete single player saves?
Saved games cause the game to crash after the splash screen if the contents of the save file do not match the current status of the install, for example if the saves were made in a different mod version. This is why the launcher automatically deletes them.
Singleplayer is for testing the stuff you want to buy on the server. It's not a designated gameplay mode, but rather a sandbox.
If that's the case, are there any arguments that could be added to the launcher to stop the automatic updates and also an arg to stop the auto delete?
There is no way to do that. The only solution is to copy out the savegame files somewhere safe after you exit the game. But on the long run it's a useless bother, because Discovery Freelancer WAS NOT designed with singleplayer in mind.

SP mode, as I said, is more a sandbox to try out ships and their configurations you would like to use on the roleplaying server which is the main purpose of the mod.
So, play on the server or don't play Disco? My connection isn't good enough to play the server, so I guess this is the end of disco for me. Sad
Run freelancer without using the launcher and your saves won't be wiped.
That doesn't work in Windows 10.
After all the hoops I had to jump through to make things work, it still doesn't work.
