I have been looking through all the information I could find on Rheinland, but certain things are still unclear, specifically the economics and politics.

I would be glad with both general and specific answers.

What is the economic system in Rheinland? Is it essentially the same as the other houses? Everything seems to be based on private corporations, but the political systems seem quite different (if all a bit americanized and stereotyped).

How exactly does the Rheinland government work? There is a head-of-state and parliament, but that seems to be as far as parliamentary-republicanism goes. The Chancelor seems to have much more power than the head of state normally would in such a system. I haven't seen anything about how the government is organized besides head of state and parliament. Are there planetary governments as well as a Rheinland government? How are those planetary governments organized?
the economic system is a capitalistic one, with the little problem of a vast monopoly of certain companies on their respective industrial fields, as rheinland is suffering from a very strong lobbyism, which brings us to the actual politics. it doesn't have any social backup systems or anything

until 700AS, rheinland was a monarchy which collapsed after the 80 years war. It was the Bundschuh (socialists/communits) who made the coup happen. the fallowing 15 years were rather dodgy. the aristocrats and the bundschuh as well as other parties and such tried to form a gouvernment. This resulted in the Bundschuh being prohibited and forced into the underground, as the influence of the old aristocrats (who still run the major companies in rheinland) was too dominant. since then, it was a democracy with a hand full of parties who are all more or less puppets of the lobbies.

so, basically, its ment to be the way how the US is today. then a bunch of disco players carrying the tag "[RM]" came by and decided that rheinland should be a fascist dictatorship where the chancellor is some sort of godlike person that has to be worshiped in its own churches.
So maybe some RMs should give some input?
I'm in RM. you may trust my words.
Haha, it didn't exactly sound like you approved:

Thank you very much for your answers, nevertheless. But the whole Chancelor thing leaves a few points on which I am uncertain.

Does the Chancelor, as a matter of principle, have supreme executive power or is it only a truth of practicality brought along by the domination of the Rheinland Military?
