I have never used turret zoom before and so I wanted to give it a try. I did some single player testing with several gunboats and capital ships. When I use ctrl+scrolling it only zooms very close or to default distance, but not farther than that.
I should also add that the zoom feature only reacts when I scroll down. So basically when I scroll down once, I am in close view. When I scroll down AGAIN I am back at the default view. I can scroll up as many times as I want and nothing happens.
Before you offer any suggestions I assure you:
- I tested with caps or gunboats with different turrets;
- I was in turret view;
- I also tried to allocate zoom keys - it didn't work either.
If anyone could solve this mystery, it would be greatly appreciated.
