Aland Shipyard has fallen. Only the South Shields Refinery is remaining in the hands of the Independant Miner Guild in the Bretonian space. The Guild asked us to defend it and we will do it. The station is vital for the IMG but aswell for us. This refinery will produce a large amount of fuel for EFL and we cannot let the Bretonians capture it. The Embrun battlegroup is actually located in the system and ready to deal with the Ark Royal. It is obvious that this battlegroup will attempt to capture South Shields in order to secure his position in the system. The station is currently undefended and it is only a matter of time before the tea snakes launch their attack. Following the recent events in Omega-3, the IMG decided to send he Battlegroup Rockabill in the North. They expect to defend their station. The first part of the opération "Bouclier Royal" consists in help the Rockabill to reach Newcastle. He is actually surrounded in Dublin by the Bretonians forces.






We will assemble a small force to rescue the isolated IMG Battlegroup. The Bretonians are certainly aware of the Miners plans. The plan is to extract the IMG forces and make them reach their new base in Newcastle. This task won't be easy as the Bretonians will try everything to destroy the Miners. As if they were more dangerous than our glorious forces.

Once this first part done, we have to organize the defense of South Shields. The Task Force Malouines under the command of myself and the Commandant de Belmond will be in charge of this matter. The RNS-Sombre Destin will take the lead and will be the pillar of the defense perimeter. He will have as task to repel any attack and if necessary sacrifice himself for the victory. A solid defense and a perfect organization are the key of the victory. For now, the Bretonians cannot have reinforcements due to the loss of the direct Jump Gate in New London. Though we have to be careful. The failure of Aland demonstrated that the Bretonians are ready to try everything. But this time, they will face the Roi !





Once the defensive part a success and the Bretonians forces weakened, the Embrun with the help of the TF-Malouines have to surround and completely destroy the Ark Royal Battlegroup in an all out-attack. We have the advantage, the Bretonians are going to fight on two fronts. They won't expect that. We are going to destroy them and take over the whole system. If we win, then it would be like if the war would be already over.





This battle is vital for the IMG survival but for us aswell. The consequences may change the war and we cannot fail at this point. But a good soldier of the Roi shall do everything to have la victoire. The defeat is not in our vocabulary. Give Bretonians hell.

The evolution of the situation on the New London Front forced to us to stop for a time the opération. She has been a great success, both on a tactical and strategic point.

One of the most difficult part was the rescue of the Battlegroup Rockabill, essential in the defense of South Shields, surrounded in Dublin. The Miners forces were been detected during their travel from Omega-3. A plan has been made to avoid the Bretonian blocus. The Bonne Naissance with a jump drive on board jumped in Dublin and went in the North. Once there, the IMG forces met the Valor and the hyperspace sequence began. Few minutes later, the entire fleet jumped in Leeds and moved in Newcastle without any losses. This part was a total success.

We didn't wait too much before the Bretonians attempt an attack on South Shields. Even if our ships have taken some damage, we managed to push the enemy back. The installation is safe for now and intact so for this matter a good point.

Though we didn't have the time to launch a counterattack. The Embrun will have to do it alone. But we haven't doubt on his victory.
