"Me and Onyx went out for a Security Sweep of Delta. We stopped by Nauru there wasn't much happening. So we then proceeded to Dabadoru which was also quiet. When we returned to the Freeport there was Two civilian contacts. One was a Zoner who seemed to just be hanging around. Second one was a Freelancer hauling Iridium Ore. Not really much of interest if I'm telling the truth.

"Currently on patrol in Kappa, got some strange signals. Anyway, while i'm on patrol i'll just get this report done. Freeport 11 was attacked by the Albtraum Infected Rheinland Cruiser. Some random nomad "Rabisu" war morph followed by two Commune Destroyers of Outcast origin. Unfortunately they tore me a new one after ripping Opal's ship apart. Grey managed to pull us back inside and the remaining Freeport 11 defenses faught them off. We're gonna need some bigger guns and a whole lotta help if they keep sending ships that big to the Freeport. We could've harmed civilian targets and it made it hard to destroy the enemy."

Members of Velvet,

On the 23rd, just after the fiasco outside the Freeport, I have decided to patrol across the system as part of our contingency protocol. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the perpetrators, but I did find a Rheinland Battlecruiser hanging around the Ennibeck Spaceport with the callsign "RNC-Bothnia". The captain wasn't very talkative, so I couldn't get much of a conversation going until the Core arrived to deal with it.

This might become concerning if it becomes a trend. Having foreign warships coming in and out of the Omicrons is not a sign of good news. We should increase our efforts in reconnaissance to see what's going on.

Subject: First successful flight of the Velvet Gold

Members of Velvet,

It is with great delight that I can inform all of you that the Velvet Gold has just completed its maiden voyage. Our first mission was to deliver a shipment of Nanocapacitors from Planet Hamburg to Akabat with a fella in the Pirate Train "Malveridas" and Melissa Jones as fighter escort. A report of this shipment can be accessed here.

Our trip has gone without a hitch, despite the fact that I'm not quite used to commanding a ship of this size yet; perhaps next time I should be on a fighter seat instead of a commanding seat. Right now, our engineers are analyzing the ship's systems and a detailed post-flight report will be delivered shortly.

The Velvet Gold brings good promise as a mobile HQ and multi-tool ship of sorts, it's extremely spacious and quite agile for its length. We haven't had the chance to test its defensive capabilities yet, which is rather important despite the fact that this is a support ship. That should become a priority as soon as possible at the earliest, or once we finish our little hauling gig with the Legacy of Orillion at the latest.

"Whilst on Patrol in Delta I found a Core vessel designated WV-Caesar. The Caesar, A Bretonian "Invincible" class Carrier was being assaulted by a Nammu class Nomad and a RNC cruiser, designation Albtraum. A name which we are unfortunately way too familiar with it. It is obvious now, that this vessel is not a part of the BDM, as we originally feared (I told ya so). I moved into give the Caesar assistance with both targets, Smoked the Nomad and that b*astard Albtraum (See attachment's below). Gotta say I'm Impressed with the Core's new toy. Speaking of toys these new ships sure are something.

Members of Velvet,

On May 12th, 826 A.S. at approximately 22:30 Sirius Time, a Commune/Nomad incursion consisting of 2 Storta Destroyers and 1 Nomad Cruiser threatened Freeport 11 space. Velvet immediately responded with a bomber detachment and 2 of our new capital ships, the Kitty Cat (who picked this name?) and the Unyielding. While the Kitty Cat sustained critical damage, we've still managed to really raise hell on the Commune ships - unfortunately, the Nomad managed to escape into the cloud.

"This is Onyx, Flight log. Undocking from the freeport when alarms were raised to a Nomad Irra in the distance, assaulting Order battlecruisers and weakened. It took only a few torpedos to end the "Creature"'s life. Grey was in close persuit but was too late for the joy of ending that miserable thing's life. After that wonderful event of nomad blood spilled I decided to take Grey with me on a patrol mission around Delta, through kappa to visit Corinth and Lavidia, then through to Theta to check up on Zoner instillations before returning home the short route back through kappa to Freeport 11. We had an interesting conversation, Though a patrol log is no place for our harsh language."

The protection of our freeport is a privelage, not a right. And they stomped all over it. When I threatened to shoot his bomber down with grey, he said a few salt laced words before departing."
