Agricultural efforts exceeded growth expectations as well. With the development of Synthcrops and the resultant Paste and later luxury Gel they create, Planet Los Angeles underwent a massive revitalization, recovering and expanding far past their highest point pre-Drought by the turn of the century. Rheinland, deep in debt with a starving populace after the Eighty Years War, brought Synth Foods into the fold by giving them a substantial contract to develop Stuttgart in the vision of Los Angeles; and a century and a half later, over ninety perecent of agricultural production on Stuttgart is provided using Synth Foods' revolutionary technology, and the bellies of Rheinland citizens are happy and filled with the variety of products Synth Foods delivers at a price no other provider can beat, with a similarly unparalleled consistency and time-to-market. Even Kusari, famously stubborn in their demands to produce their foodstuffs locally, eventually caved to popular demand for cheaper, more prevalent food; and now Kusarians have never eaten better.

The Synth Foods of the early 9th century AS is a revitalized and empowered corporation, seeking to ever expand their markets into all corners of Sirius. Feeding the billions that call the Sirius Sector home is a daunting task, especially given the tumult of recent wars and intra-House strife.
