INTRODUCTION

I figured Rheinland could use a nice shoot-em-up event like we've seen throughout Liberty, and I also wanted to have a no-holds-barred all-snubs-allowed event to see just how well the balance patch did or didn't work. This'll probably end in a furball disaster mess, but hopefully in a fun way.

THE PREMISE

Ever since their posturing over Stuttgart's airspace so many months ago, the Synth Foods conglomerate and the Red Hessians have always been at odds with each other. Having ousted their friends in the Landwirtrechtbewegung quite handily, and having shown no quarter to those raiders who would attempt to pick on their food convoys, the Hessians within the former LWB halls of Darmstadt have long awaited a day like today.

The Battleship Karlsruhe, a long-time defender of Stuttgart airspace and Synth Foods' operations, has been a thorn in the side of any such attempt on Synth Foods' corporate stranglehold of the planet. Any attack on their convoys leaving their newly-minted supply station, or even the station itself, would be easily foiled by the attendant battlegroup. Unless, of course, that battlegroup found themselves busy, distracted, on the far end of Planet Stuttgart's SOI. Laying the bait for a garrison seeking action would be simple. Executing on that opening would be difficult.

At approximately 1730 hours on the 15th of June, the Karlsruhe battlegroup detected a pair of what seemed to be Hessian cruisers burning northward toward Cologne. Moving quickly to intercept before they slipped through the Military's fingers, the bulwark of Stuttgart's airspace was left rather sparsely defended, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the Hessians. Together with their Coalition compatriots aboard Darmstadt, they have taken up arms in quick, heavily armed snubcraft, and now race out of the Ostnebel toward the unsuspecting Supply Station. They have only minutes before the full planetary garrison reaches the sky, but in that time there is little more than a paltry Synth Foods Corporate Security wing and the remainder of the Karlsruhe's rearguard element.

STRUCTURE

• Event takes place Saturday the 15th at 18:00 UTC! If not enough people sign up, it can be pushed back.
  
• IDs permitted: Synth Foods, Rheinland Federal Police, Military, and MND, Coalition, and Red Hessians. Both indies and officials of all listed IDs.
  
• Synth Foods and Rheinland lawfuls will gather at Supply Station Neckar E3/4 at 17:50 UTC.
  
• Coalition and Hessians will gather at Darmstadt Depot F4 at 17:50 UTC.
  
• Combat will take place in E/F4 at 18:00 UTC, as noted below.

RULES

• Leave ooRP grudges at the door. This is meant to be good, clean fun.
  
• No Planet-diving or deliberate attempts at suicide.
  
• No base hugging or base camping. Also, no shieldrunning into Stuttgart orbit so you can hide under the waves of NPCs.
  
• Once you die, you are out of the event. You may watch the event from a reasonable distance until it ends.
  
• No restocking.
  
• No Cloaking Devices or Jump Drives. If either is used, everyone involved in the event will have the responsibility to immediately target the offending player. That or a GM will yeet them.
  
• The following ships are banned from this event: Nothing so far. This is half-meant as a test of the new balance changes, so bring whatever you've got and let's have us a fight!
