Esteemed Guildmaster, we come to you in a time of need. With the Royalist forces of Gallia knocking on our Allies front door, and suffering the loss of three Battlegroups within the space of just a few months, we are starting to get into a tight spot with warship deployment.

So, we have a proposal for you.

We would like to exchange one of our outdated Eagle-class dreadnought hulls for one of your Mako-class battleships.

In addition to providing the dreadnought hull, we will also send over a team of engineers to help you get her up and running, and train your people in maintaining her.

If you believe this to be a reasonable offer, please do not hesitate to respond.

Good to hear from the 5th once in a while.

I am Guildkeeper John Darius Guerra and I will take over this matter.

I must say that we are very surprised by this proposal and at the same time, we are very interested in the same. There are two things though that might prove being a problem. The first problem is that I need to see this outdated hull and how it would hold out against Nomad forces. We are giving you a fully up-to-date hull in exchange for an old Eagle-class, so you must understand my worries.
The other problem lies with the Gallic Royals. I don't think it would end up good for any of us if they see you using our vessels since they have been nice enough not to invade the Omicron systems. We have our hands full with Nomads and we have a strike fleet in Bretonia in case brets get attacked from behind. So for this to work, I need you to have that Mako that I would give you, ready to travel to Omicrons in case of a Gallic invasion on our territory.

These are my requests for this to work. I hope we will have an agreement.

Guildkeeper Guerra,

I have had the hull moved to Norfolk Shipyard, where you may inspect it to your heart's desire. I have personally flown side by side with an Eagle-class battleship, and let me tell you, they are not to be trifled with. Nomads don't stand a chance against them.

As for the problem of Gallia. I can't guarantee that we will not use your Mako against them, but I can assure you that we will have it ready to join your forces in the Omicrons if need be. As such, we request that if required, you do the same for us.

Is there anything else you require of the Fifth Fleet that we may provide?

Just a few more things before I put my side of the plan in motion.

First is that I need to know if there are any hull upgrades that your Eagle-class needs as I can organize an APM convoy to Norfolk along with our Mako to make some upgrades if needed.

Second is this. I can't haul a Mako through house space just like that without anyone batting an eye. We can bring her through Bretonia, but we fear we might be engaged by IMG, Corsairs, Auxesia or Gallia on the way. Rheinland and Kusari are a no-go since they have a war of their own and with the current crisis, they don't take nicely to the Core either.

The only thing that is left is a jump hole that is rarely phase-aligned. It should closely connect Liberty to Omicron Minor, but I also believe it will take us to a heavily guarded Navy system. I know of it since I was in the Navy a few years back. If we could get your permission to use that way, the Mako will be undamaged along the way, but if we go with the Bretonian route, we will need lots of escorting to do.
