It always appeared obvious to the Mollys; that as long as Foreign military forces and corporates ( be it the Royal Navy, the Armed forces, the recently arrived Athos Battlegroup , or anyone else ) will be able to flow into Dublin, assuming control over the system and therefore be able to protect themselves from foreigners' threats efficiently, they had to make accesses to Dublin as hard and Deadly for the potential invaders.
Building the Fortress known as the Goldern Coin, aswell as the mine field protecting the Jump Hole Hole Anomaly, was their first step in the Mollys' attempt to protect themselves from Corsair Invaders coming from Omega-49 and deeper in the Omegas.

In the past year, the Mollys thought about securing the system from New London and the departure of the Essex Fleet gave them the opportunity, not only to control almost all the system, but also the streamflow of ships from New London, coming from or to the gate.
It always appeared to the Mollys that the gate itself was the issue , and that the problem shall be solved. Now it can be solved, and will be... the Molly way.

In March 826 A.S, The Republic ordered several metric tons of explosives, from their allies in the Coalition.
By April, the order was fullfilled.
The Republic's Military HC had now to put the finishing touches to the plan. And they did, indeed.

The basis was pretty simple : stuff all the explosives in the cargo of some unmanned, remotely controlled civilian ships. To dock/moor them inside the gate structure and made them detonate, blowing up the gate in the process.
Three Borderwold T. sized ships were selcted for the task, as they're easely obtained ( at Tayport for example ), and do not attract too much unwanted attention.
Easy to say, but maybe not so to get there, unnoticed.
That's when the ellaborate plan kicks in.
Two wings, mascarading as Molly pirates, would be dispatched a few minuts ahead of the convoy, heading to New London Jump Hole. Their task being to make sure the convoy would not be intercepted , nor even seen in scanning range, all the way to the jump hole. This might include to fight hostile forces, delaying them, or simply indicating a safier route to the Convoy.
Once in New London, the two wings, will proceed to the gate. One will be in charge of securing the gate vicinity, while the other one, will be tasked to cut the lane further away, to prevent any ship coming that way, by attacking them, pretending to pirate them, or simply distrupting their cruise engine and keeping the down.
Meanwhile the Convoy will be heading to back the gate . Pursued by its escort, also mascarading as Molly Pirates, in the event of unfortunate incounters while heading to the back of the gate ( who's coming from the back anyway ) .
The transports will then be moored ( from the back as it's easier to park ship inside the gate from the back ) , while the first wing that was securing the gate, will jump to the other side ( Dublin ) to prevent anyone from using the gate. While the third would secure the perimeter, in case the second wing would have failed ( that should not occur normally, as their job is only to delay anything that would happen ahead of the lane ).
Once installed, the transport would be detonated, while the the wings guarding the gate had made sure to be out of range of the massive explosion.
After that, all wings shall return home.
The whole operation of mooring the ships and activate the explosion, should to take more than a few minuts.

The plan will be executed now.
