I thought this was a picture until I started to move the mouse over the buttons.

Dude, this is really cool.

(I know how are you doing this but I think you have all chances to make good activity in Disco xd)
Thank you for the feedback.
This would be an overwhelmingly beneficial evolution.
We should be using the Archive.org link for the Freelancer ISO (https://archive.org/download/Freelancer_...lancer.iso) or the Archive.org torrent link for it (https://archive.org/download/Freelancer_...ve.torrent) instead of a link to my personal web server.

Y'know, because if I get a phone call from Microsoft Legal, I'm going to be upset.
I took the link from the current tutorial. I've updated my OP with your first archive link. Thanks for noticing that. I don't want you to get a call either Kazinsal

Thank you for the support Riehl
Awesome, thanks.

I quite like this style. I wonder if it would be worth it to do a UI overhaul for the game in that style entirely.
This looks awesome (sun).
That's certainly a big ambition! Star Citizen was the inspiration. Perhaps their UI's can be further analysed and incorporated. Would need to be done tastefully though.

Thank you Nerva Regis.
Updated OP with my (hopefully) final version 3.
My only concern now is what about people who aren't using Windows 10? I believe there's a similar installation procedure for Windows 8, if I recall? 7 is straight forward enough, though.

Then again I have no idea how many people are actually using Windows 8.
