Like the title says i am looking for a free program to use instead of AVG. Since appearently i can't connect to the server with vista and avg together. Anyone know such a program or a way to make freelancer work like it should with AVG.
Avira works pretty good and is one of the few that works with windows 7 well.
Id suggest Avira. It works quite well , and its the only one ive ever used that didnt cause probs with Freelancer

But if you decide to go that way read the tutorial how to get it work with FL + Vista. You need to uncheck that one option when installing. I can't remember which one, but look up the tutorial.

I use Avira, its not let any virus escape its grasp. I've got the free version, so it doesn't come with a Firewall. I just use Windows Firewall (since no other Firewall I found would work with FL) and Spybot S/D to find those other pesky things that can infect my computer.
