IT people sometimes ask stupid questions, but have you checked to ensure that you've applied the bugfix patches?

I have. I can get as far as selecting the server, but it's greyed out except for the server version which is red. I've also disabled my firewall and restarted the game and still unable to get in.

The server shows it's a v 92, and the game in the network server settings say I'm v 92.

Both Battlecruiser Sisteron and Frejus Station infocards say that Brigands eventually abandoned Frejus after the Confederate state was founded, and Sisteron moved to the same location as that base, but neither the base is abandoned nor Sisteron moved to that place.

Missions started out broken, were briefly fixed, but now are broken again, missions don't spawn when you reach the waypoint and can't be abandoned.

One way to abandon missions that are invalid (no mission control at start and end, no targets at waypoint0 is to land, exit character, then load again.
