All analysts agree that this was the worst quarterly performance for the Unioner movement in the last few years.

Following a number of subversion acts on their partners in Liberty which most Lane Hackers attribute solely to Arbeitsdirektor Corin Frei, they decided they had enough and ordered the eviction of all Unioner marauding parties and associate pirates from Liberty along with the support of Battlegroup Harmony. This resulted in the loss of Texas and Kansas systems which the Unioners had significantly invested into the previous years and paid in blood because of their war with Hellfire Legion. Furthermore, targets in Liberty systems are on average far more valuable than those in the impoverished Rheinland state.

It is believed that this significant loss of revenue would further increase the internal pressure on Corin Frei, who in the past year has consolidated his power and control on the Union through various means, such as rigging elections and assassinating and silencing political opponents.

At the same time, this loss of revenue was mostly pocketed by the Liberty Rogues and Lane Hackers who reigned supreme in Liberty's so-called 'underbelly' without much foreign competition. While the Liberty Rogues did not participate in the Unioner eviction from Liberty it is obvious that they profited from it and will not do anything to stop it, thus keeping their hands clean in the process.

It is unknown what will happen in the future but it is rumored a major underworld meeting is scheduled in Bering without Unioner participation which will decide on the future status of the Independent Worlds and the resources lying within.
