wow

1st episode, brilliant

watched it a few times now, and i see more things each time
After what little I could stand of Discovery, I'll admit that my expectations were low for this one. After seeing the first episode, though, I am absolutely impressed.
Thought it was going to be a Star Trek version of Alita Battle Angel when it began. Still might turn out to be that. I also enjoyed it immensely.
Surprisingly, ST: Picard feels great! Hope they won't ruin it...
First episode is a little rushed at some points, but still gorgeous!

Now lets see how Star Trek Online milks money out of this.

pogo is talented inst he, all of the recording was done "in his front room", he got the lighting spot on
I loved it. Wonderful.
I always thought Paramount was missing an opportunity by not doing something where Picard assumes his Flag and commands a squadron. That way, you could run interwoven storylines with multiple ships and up and coming actors.

Periodically, you could get the squadron together to perform heavier operations, rescues, etc.
I wasn't impressed by it.
I've seen the first ep now.

My thoughts (SPOILER ALERT):
