CLASS: Hangyaku
GRAVITY: Partial
DOCKING: Restricted
POPULATION: Classified

Kinkaku-ji, the temple of the golden pavilion, is an installation of the Gen'an Sisterhood dedicated to the goddess Amaterasu and the founder of the Golden Chrysanthemum movement, Yuyu Matsuda. The Station is the Gen'an Sisterhood's main installation, having both strategic and economic value.

The base initially started as a shrine base, but the Gen'an Cell quickly realised its strategic position and utilised this to set up their weapon and cardamine markets and opened up the base to the Blood Dragons and the Maltese. At thise stage, the entire station atmosphere was laced with cardamine and the Sisters offered protective masks to non addicted allies.

After discovery by the Kusari Naval Forces and the successful defence against their fleet, The Gen'an Chrysanthemums opened the Shrine base to the factions that came to their aid, namely the Lane Hackers and the Rogues. An ambitious new plan emerged where the shrine base would be reinforced and shipyard facilities are added.

In 18 October 826 A.S., The living Quarters of the Stations were greatly expanded to allow a significant increase of population on the station and the construction of the embassy section was finished. The cardamine was removed from the atmosphere in the public sectors to make it more hospitable to non-addicted visitors. The restricted areas, Sector 3 and 4, have cardamine laced ventilation systems to ward off unauthorised visitors, among other defensive systems.

As of 4/11/826, the hull of Kinkaku-ji has been reinforced with Niobium and the station's weakest points have additionally been reinforced with Tungsten.

At the bar, Kinkaku-ji, Shikoku

Rin quietly sat behind a low table, stirring the matcha powder in the black ceremic tea cup. She just arrived back in Kusari after 2 weeks away. During that time she shipped a large cargo of cardamine to Rheinland and bought several crates of weapons back to to Kinkaku-ji, where they are now being unloaded.

She was now enjoying the peace and quiet of the ritualistic stirring of the matcha powder.

Hanako was standing at the bar sipping from a bottle of gin, when she has spotted Rin. An uncommon sight, considering she was mostly either on Malta or flying in her old bucket of a transport. She grinned to herself and walked to Rin, hugging her from behind and ruffling her hair, accidentally spilling some of Rin's matcha.

"Oye! Grandma is home!" she says smiling in a slightly slurred speech.

Rin Didn't look up and just whiped the table clean, before starting over again.

"Bonsai tree, I see your roots are still soft."

Hanako sits in front of Rin, placing the bottle at their now shared table. She reaches to her pocket, taking out a pack of cigarettes and proceeds to light one.

"Sequoia tree, fun as always." She then laughs. "Seems you got out of Liberty fine, when they busted us there last time. We have to celebrate, drink with me!." she says, pushing the bottle of gin towards Rin.

Rin ignores the gin and keeps stirring in the tea.

"When the tree has grown
its roots will reach the waters
even through hard ground"

She looks up at the gin bottle.

"One of the Sisters who escorted me almost died from cardamine withdrawal when she was stranded on Allentown"

Maria enters, has a quick look around and heads to the bar, "Any roasted hojicha?" as she grabs a seat.

A young woman, probably in her mid-twenties, stepped off of a transport that had just landed only a few minutes ago. She was surrounded by fellow women of varying degrees of age, and even culture. A large majority of them, however from the brief glances she had around the hangar bay, were here due to their prior lives leading them to this place, probably the same reasons she, now, found herself in. Mieko had only one goal today, find a representative of the Golden Chrysanthemum, to show that she's more than willing to join the sisterhood. She knew about this place after hearing about it through whispers from the women she had worked with on the farms of Kyushu, and even overtly through the media when it was reported that Kusari Naval Forces failed in their siege of the station some few months ago.

The young woman gripped the strap of her backpack over her shoulder and drew in a deep breath, her new life was beginning today, or so she hoped. After a couple of quiet moments reflecting on her decision, she began walking towards the exit of the hangar. Her spirits were high as she strolled through the various corridors of the station, eventually finding herself sliding open a paper crafted door, Kusari was very big on it's traditions, and stepped into a rather quiet room with low standing tables and cushions resting on the floor, a couple of women were holding a quiet discussion among themselves at what appeared to be the center of the room, and another woman was heard asking if there was any roasted hojicha. She dressed much like the outsider who was demanding a specific type of food, black combat boots, some faded jeans that were torn around the knees, and a slightly baggy shirt that hung off of one shoulder. She took a moment to look around before nodding quietly to herself and walking off towards a far corner table where she sat her back down and slowly collapsed onto the floor.

"Alright, Mieko. You've gotten this far, hai? It's only fair that you go just a little bit further." She said to no one in particular.
Corridor/Bar

A very young woman was walking around the corridor leading to the hangars of Kinkaku-Ji. Her clothes were a bit more excessive than those of other women around, green and red kimono like clothes with straps, which were supposed to look like a flower. Her eyes noticed one particular and young woman collapsing onto the floor, but it seemed to be of psychical and not medical issues. She took a deep breath and walked closer to the young woman. "May I help you, lost wanderer? I can see the you've arrived just recently and I would like to make sure you aren't scared of us, not on my watch at least. What about a cup of Lotus tea, would it help to calm your mind?." The young woman said carefully in calm tone, trying not to scare away the newcomer.
"When the tree has grown
its roots will reach the waters
even through hard ground"

Hanako groans audibly and rubs her face.

"I think I have a gin withdrawal. I will do haik-off with you only if you drink with me. We are both too sober for this"
