Hey everyone, had an idea and would like to check what the interest would be for it.
Basically a part of the forums, much like the bounty board and market place, where people could leave inrp missions or tasks they want someone to take care of.
This could be anything from delivering cargo to a destination, to providing escort duty, maybe even pirating.
By keeping the postings inrp it would add to the feel of the game as well as it would allow people add rp flavor or leave missions 'anonymously'.
As I imagine it a posting would look something like:
Eligable ID's: Freelancer + IDs chosen by poster
Region: House/edge/border
Task summerized: deliver cargo / steal cargo / protect x
Reward: credits or other reward here (perhaps a generous OF would offer a snub vessel? a government might provide a special cargo license?)
flavor text and details here
Of course there'd have to be rules regarding such a system, in order to prevent people from treating job posts as a comm thread for example, but that's
something I would only like to start looking into if people actually like the idea.
So what do you think Disco community? Something worth looking into or leave things as is?
