Greetings folks,

I have the following question:
Why does my reputation resets, to what it had been before , after making a bribe and leaving the base (where the bribe occured).
Currently I am (with a Pirate ID) at Attica Station in Galileo, I bribe the bartender for better Lane Hackers rep, immediately after the bribe (while still in the base) I see my reputation is in the green with the Lane Hackers. Now, I leave the station with my ship, and checking my rep. screen, I see that my reputation with the Lane Hackers is the same as before the bribe. WTF?
I had the same experience with one the Zoners base in Kepler (bribing Outcasts, Hell Legion, etc.).
I don't understand.

I think this actually started to happen after I bought a ship "Roc" at the zoners base.

Can somebody give me any insight/explanation, please.

Thank you,
Monk
The Pirate ID is "hacked" to only allow a certain maximum reputation with a number of factions, such as Lane Hackers, which will be reset upon undocking or relogging.

He's correct, and just for the sake of better understanding: by "hacked" he means that most IDs dictate your reputation towards certain factions. For example, if you have a Liberty Navy ID, you can't get a better reputation with the Rogues. In your case it's the Pirate ID, which sets most factions to hostile.
For what it is worth, the reputation is supposed to only be absolute for NPCs.
