I have been delighted to be part of the Hauler Exchange Programme here in Liberty, and hauled billions worth of products for the Deep Space Engineering corporation under their license. And everyone has been more than welcoming and trusting even though I do operate a Rheinlandish transport!

Today I regretfully must say I might have betrayed said trust.

With no Premium Scrap on bases in New York...
The usual route I was sent on hauling military salvage to New London from Bristol Depot being now re-routed,
and being burnt out from the massive workload saving Leduc station where I believe I hauled the 6th most support equipment of all the haulers that participated
I experienced a LAPSE IN INTEGRITY


OVERHEARING STRANGERS
I was idling near Manhattan, when I overheard two strangers engaged in conversation in public comms, I didn't think much of it at first, but as I was bored and numb from all the workload and nothing to haul so I kept listening

A LOST ZONER
To my surprise a strange ship I later learned is called the Zoner Whaleappeared

I have never seen one before, but at least in Rheinland you can never see a Zoner engaging with our house bases in large ships.

MY CONFESSION
As you can see, there was a Zoner that was lost, travelled far and seemed desperate, with cargo he couldn't unload as Zoner docking apparatus seems to malfunction on house space bases...So I helped him to unload his artifacts.

It's possible (\^/)Jean-Luc-Picard might actually have been experiencing Late stages of heavy on-set senility as I believe He has been around Sirius for many years
And I know how destructive the disease can be to the mind.


I really felt like I was helping a stranger, I could tell you that I wasn't aware taking artifacts to New Manhattan is illegal as I am not from around here, but that would be a lie, thanks to my very comprehensive DSE transition training. It's all a blur but it seems I was also haggling for the price and was fully aware of my actions...

THE CONSEQUENCES
For every action there needs to be a reaction. In retrospect I deeply regret my actions, even though they were in good fayth.
This was the first time I have taken part in anything even remotely law-breaking since my stay in the welcoming Liberty and DSE and I can assure you that although this will never happen again, I am turning myself in and will accept whatever consequences you deem appropriate.


I ask you for one thing,

I did act in good faith, and I am coming forward to you voluntarily to clear my conscience.
So please let me learn from my mistakes, and allow me to continue my productive and eye opening stint at DSE for the time being where hopefully both sides learn a great deal from each other.

is this thing on, can u hear me? I assume you can. *throat clearing noise is transmitted over the speaker* I'll want to give my opinion on this situation. I was away in the Deep Space for 8 Years. My ship did not recived much love in the time. I'll was coming to Liberty for scientific reasons, the Artifacts i got in the Cargohold i found on my Voyages throughout the Deep Space. I was not intend to Smuggel Illegal Material. As i entered New York, my ship recived an automatic Message from a comm Satelite with the updated Rules of Liberty. I read this message with a feeling like your heard is falling down your pant. I dont want to be part of a Crime organisation. But all my savings where gone for the repairs after my come back out of the deep space.

I'll knew i did something wrong. Even if its out of good reasons and an helpfull mind to explore maybe some secrets of the Nomads, or Daam-Kwosh. So the Galaxy does not need to fear them anymore. However, i asked Karl to deliver this Artifacts to the Manhatten Research Center for Ancient Beeings and Lifeforms. So they can study them. I used to have an Old firend back in the days working there. I dont know if he's still arround, but i hope.

So now to my request: please do not judge about Karl to harsh, my senses tell me he is a good person, he only fall in his older behaviors by my mistake. I'll hope you don't complete ruin his life now.

Freund Jean-Luc,

I understand things can be confusing after a long stint in deep space, and I agree with you that alien cultures need to be studied.

I've been informed by DSE) that the incident has closed doors on my progression, so I have decided to return back to Rheinland.
Don't feel sorry for me, I did plan on continuing my stay, but helping my fellow kin and country is always a noble cause, and aiding you has pushed me into a return back home.

So if you ever happen to stumble into the Rheinland territory or Bering, send me a private communication and we can reminisce about the good old days and your deep space travels over some cold Rheinbier.
