Hi, I'm new to mining and am looking for some input on which ships that can actually mine. Currently I have the Hegemon but am interested in upgrading to the the IMG Heavy Transport, is it possible? If so what are the pros and cons?

The ships that get a mining bonus are listed in the Mining Guide

The IMG Heavy Transport does not get any bonus.
