A freighter in with paralyzer missle + turret view is unbeatable by any fighter by a long span. Change my mind.
Freighters are mini-gunboats. They're not to be taken lightly.
Fighters are not supposed to be able to 1v1 freighters. A freighter in group combat will die incredibly fast.
Freighters are incredible in 1v1s but their usefulness drops off sharply in larger-scale fights as they eventually just turn into worse gunboats.
Freighters aren't meant to PvP. Change my mind.

Freighters aren't meant to do anything useful in Discovery, beyond haul gimmick cargo in events and demolish solo snubs.
Freighters have 400 cruise speed, mount 30k shields, shred fighters in 1v1 duels because of turret view, and have enough cargo to mount CAU VI.
They are the real Super Heavy Fighters.
I'm the best freighter pilot on the server and I died to Meph in a snub. Wesker and Haste give me runs for my money. Nepotu shot me with a SNAC once.
They're fine.
