I think it would encourage it and make it easier to find information on characters rather than digging for so long.
You could break it down into subsections like: Rheinland, Kusari, Liberty, Bretonia, Gallia, Omegas, Taus, Sigmas, Omicrons etc.
Aliens can have their own thing too.
Just a thought.
What a great idea! Instead of "Stories and Biographies" you could have
"Stories"
and
"Biographies"
It would make a lot more sense, and make things easier to find!
Hell, maybe the mods would be onboard with helping separate things on request.

At first that may seem to ring true but it would make it easier to find a character bio over the same character's other stories.
It works vice-versa as well.

Aren't you the one arguing for dumbing down the section and saying that the current system is too complicated.
Nobody reads other people's bios and stories anyway, apart from the poor staff members who are forced to with srp requests, and links are provided in those.
What really would help is to remove every word from the index page that doesnt actually help you find or distinguish stuff.
Examples of too many mostly useless mentions of words on the index page:

discovery 25
Also make the headers in the index page larger or full caps.
