I'm a noob about discovery freelancer multiplayer

I am trying to conect to the main server but it seems to be unable to connect to the server because I am not being able to select it as it's grey, does it mean it's server down?

Its alive, but you need to patch it.

Are you in fullscreen mode?

If so then go to settings and turn on windowed mode
