Saipan's Breakthrough
Omicron Zeta
Combat/Siege event
BACKGROUND
It's been more than a week since the last large confrontation between the Core and the Order which ended with failure for the Order convoy. Survived the Core convoy remains reported to Yaren about the suspicious activity is coming from Yap Edge Nebula and Capetown garrison requested for reinforcements to begin an investigation.
The Core scouts made an attempt to break inside the nebula, but they met Order battlecruiser Anhur that was recently deployed to prevent hostile invasion into the restricted area.
Several of Capetown's modules have been restored after the huge Order attack and self-claimed Omicrons rulers understand the next facts:
1. Small squadron can be sent too far from the station, but fighters cannot exceed the battlecruiser's power.
2. They can deploy a large group over there, but they need to be always supplied being so far from Capetown.
It was decided to deploy a small outpost that could be used as a temporary camp for the Core assault forces during the offensive.
Naturally, the Order patrols have spotted their enemy's movements towards the Yap Nebula and Cairo reported to Akabat about the rising tensions near planet Saipan.
[The Core] Protect the station and destroy all Order ships are coming from the nebula. In case of success, prepare to deploy a capital ship to smash Battlecruiser Anhur.
