Hey

I was trying to run a Freelancer server, Ive got the FLHook so the server works fine, but when I go to Freelancer and try to connect to my server, I only see it if I'm connected to the Internet, if I'm not connected to the Internet I don't see any servers, not even mine which is on the same machine.

Can some one help out or post a link?

Thanks
Well, I don't really see the issue. Just stay connected to the internet and it works fine.
Try connecting to IP address 127.0.0.1 which is the loopback address. Basically you tell your computer to directly access itself.
I've tried that just now, still nothing:(
change damned vista ^^;)
i can't it came with my laptop, and its configured specifically for my laptop
That doesn't mean that you must keep it. You can still install XP Pro without having to pay for an extra license.
ive tried that a few times, and ended up going back to technicians for fixing
Are you using a modified Freelancer shortcut (with the -s flag) ?
Any firewall installed ?

On a side note - Try to install Windows 7.
I've got so fed up of Vista that I'm running a Beta OS !
Make sure you're using the "DSUpdate.exe" and not "Freelancer.exe". The mod has changed and in order to see the server properly you must use DSUpdate.exe.
