SUMMARY


At 0500 hours, 1st Tartaria Sqd. left Zhukovsky Station and headed towards Rheinland space.

At 0600 hours we encountered two Rheinland vessels, one of which was neutralized.

At 0700 hours we entered Libertarian space, the squadron was intercepted by a small detatchment of the Libery Navy which consisted of three fighters, two gunboat sized vessels followed by a local pirate and civilian vessel.

Two of the fighters were neturalized and the pirate vessel escaped after his engagement with the third fighter.


COMMENT


The first Rheinland vessel we encountered was a trade ship by the name of BDM|LV-Hrimfaxi who was at the time hauling some sort of supplies. As the Rheinlanders are in the midst of a civil war no doubt it was for that cause. The second Rheinland vessel was [SMR]Fr.Borchers, who was part of the Imperalist faction of Rheinland and did not take kindly to us or the trade vessel's presence.

The Libertarian's fighters we encountered were quite dangerous. =LSF=Bobcat:: being the most dangerous. I suggest we keep an eye out for this ship and proceed with caution. They were surprisingly prepared for our arrival. We should be more careful as to not be tracked while entering or leaving House space. We should endeavor to better prepare for the forces the Libertarians may throw at us.

SUMMARY


At 1700 hours, 1st Tartaria Sqd. Begins assembling in the California system.

At 1705 hours, Tartar Kazimir was intercepted by members of the 46th in the New York system.

At 1710 hours, Tartar Sukurov and Tartar Zheltyy arrive as backup for Tartar Kazimir.

At 1730 hours, the Naval 46th units have been neutralised. 1st Tartaria Sqd. Departs the New York system for repair and resupply.

At 1745 hours, 1st Tartaria Sqd. Is intercepted by [LIA] and 5th fighter craft, along with a Bounty Hunter Gunboat. A general skirmish ensues.

At 1755 hours, 1st Tartaria Sqd. Is ordered to fallback through a jumphole, Liberty forces fail to pursue.

At 1805 hours, 1st Tartaria Sqd. is discovered nearby Noshima Freeport in the Shikoku system by Kusari State Police. Tartar Sukurov is onboard the station repairing and resupplying.

At 1859 hours, after failing to entice the officers to become friends of the Coalition. They attempt to arrest Tartar Kazimir and Zheltyy. 1st Tartaria Sqd. Resisted their attempts.

At 1917 hours, Tartar Sukurov joins the ongoing engagement following their ship becoming flight worthy.

At 1918 hours, Tartar Kazimir's ship suffers significant damage and is neutralised by the Kusari State Police.

At 1923 hours, 1st Tartaria Sqd. had defeated the Kusari State Police officers and recovers Tartar Kazimir.


COMMENT


Liberty forces are over-zealous in their attempts to defeat a perceived enemy. This has so far proven to be a detrimental trait of the forces that have been encountered and dispatched.

There maybe room within the Kusari State Police to convince members to support our cause. A conversation with one of the officers showed a willingness to engage in non-violent means once they understood 1st Tartaria Sqd to not be the same as the expeditionary force that was deployed into Kyushu. The deployment that happened in Kyushu seems to have been detrimental to our progress within Kusari, such deployments in the future are likely to hinder further progress.

SUMMARY


At 2220 hours, Mission began with the departure from Noshima Freeport.

At 2235 hours, Contact was made with a Golden Chrysanthemum cell.

At 2250 hours, Contact made with local security forces.

At 2300 hours, Contact made with 'undercover' security forces.

At 2320 hours, All hostile contacts were dispatched.


COMMENT


Our mission into the Shikoku system was successful in establishing initial contact with the insurgents in the area. We were approached and conversed with members of the Golden Chrysanthemums (GC); initially they were hostile and hesitant to listen to 1st Squadron. Upon explaining that we were not apart of the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army command and not apart of the misunderstanding in Kyushu, they were more welcoming of our presence.

During the conversation with GC a police freighter and Kusari Naval Ship appeared on scanners. The GC took to dispatching them with haste, but during their conflict we were approached by a number of unknown IFFs. The GC identified them as undercover Kusari agents, and the actions of these vessels did not dissuade us of that possibility. Eventually we engaged them in combat, and although we were victorious it was not without suffering casualties.

When we were speaking to the GC, we managed to come to an mutual agreement on the tyranny of the Kusari House. Although I doubt the relationship with the cell could be smoothed over through conversation alone. I suspect it maybe possible to establish a working relationship with the group to help destabilize Kusari.

There were some Liberty Rogue elements in the system, but they seemed to be following the lead of the GC during our mission.

SUMMARY


At 1400 hours, Tatar Zheltty left for the Coronado system from Kusarian space.

At 1430 hours, I arrived in the Coronado system and stopped off at the Barrier gate station for some supplies.

At 1500 hours, I moved towards the Crayterian planet of Yuma, where there was a sizable gathering of multiple different factions. These included, Bretonian Military, Libertarian Navy, Crayterians, and Auxesians.

At 1600 hours, I returned to the Barrier Gate station. to assess my findings.


COMMENT


As soon as I arrived at Planet Yuma, I was quite suprised at what I saw. It seemed as though the Crayterian's had employed the assistance of both the Bretonains and the Libertarians in some sort of defense. As I soon found out, the Crayterains were defending against these, Auxesians as they call themselves. After the initial engagement, the Auxesians fled the area, and according to the Crayterians present, the Auxesians are actively working with Alien and invested forces. I could not verify these claims however and still do not know how true the information is. I do suggest we keep an eye out for and Alien forces in the area.

According to the Auxesian I had a chat with, he informed me that the Crayterians have evolved into some sort of proxy for both the Bretonians and Libertarians. Along with that, they claim that the Alien involvement is completely false, stating they are experimenting with nomad technologies, and the foolish Bretonian and Libertarian forces assume they are working together.

I suggest keeping a close eye on this situation, It is very troubling the Crayterians have sought help from both the Libertarians and Bretonains, but if their claims are true of Alien involvement, we may have a difficult situation on our hands.

SUMMARY


At 2040 hours, Unit was deployed to do scheduled reconnaissance.

At 2042 hours, Contact was made with local defenders, this included Crayter and Liberty assests.

At 2043 hours, Contact was made with a Nomad Invasion fleet.

At 2050 hours, Nomad forces breached the defenses of Yuma, and had destroyed much of the defending force.

At 2052 hours, Unit returned to base to avoid being engaged by Nomad threat.


COMMENT


The large Nomad fleet appears to have come through the Inverness Jump Hole located close to the Coronado star. With a mixed fleet of Nomad ship sizes they were able to overwhelm the defenders of Yuma with ease. Bomber support was provided to them by ships with an identifying IFF of 'Auxo'. However this particular group, presumably, were not the same as the previously reported Auxesians.

There were also Gallic ships assisting the Nomad forces, it is unknown if they are just insane or have been infected. The ships identified were the Battleship RNS-Charente and Battlecruiser Vatan.

SUMMARY


At 1630 hours, Unit was deployed to investigate uptick of Cardamine traders in the Tau sector.

At 1641 hours, Contact was made with Freelancer vessel 'Ratty The Fatty' hauling Cardamine.

At 1648 hours, Cardamine hauler was destroyed after refusing to drop its cargo.

At 1700 hours, Contact was made with a Junker vessel 'Unoverloadable' hauling Cardamine.

At 1705 hours, Cardamine from 'Unoverloadable' destroyed, vessel was released.

At 1740 hours, Contact was made with Gallic Naval vessels within Languedoc.

At 1747 hours, Maquis vessels joined the fray to assist.

At 1808 hours, All hostiles dispatched, vessels returned to base.




COMMENT


No immediate reason for uptick in Cardamine trade however one transport was destroyed and the other relieved of its cargo.

It was decided that we'd scout out the system of Languedoc following our operations in the Taus. We didn't get particularly far into the system before encountering Gallic forces - we engaged and proceeded to remove the oppressors from the system, we were joined by the forces of the Maquis who unfortunately all perished before the fight was over, we were not able to speak to them in any significant manner.

Notably a vessel of the Unione Corse sided with the Gauls in this engagement - he was handily dispatched by our pilots. We left shortly after the battle ended.

SUMMARY


At 2045 hours, Units made contact with a small detachment of Liberty Navy fighters and Battleship near the Planet Yuma, along with 2 Auxesian vessels.

At 2053 hours, Navy vessels were eliminated.

At 2058 hours, Units left the Coronado system, and moved into the Tau cluster.

At 2100 hours, Units entered the Tau-29 system, where contact with Kusarian and Bretonian forces was made. Shortly after a Corse vessel arrived.

At 2119 hours, Bretonian ships were destroyed, with the Kusarian warships fleeing.

At 2120 hours, Units made contact with two Outcast vessels, and a Nomad vessel.

At 2131 hours, Outcast and Nomad vessels were eliminated.

At 2134 hours, Units made contact with a fellow Comrade, who asked us to accompany him to Kusarian space.

At 2153 hours, Units attempted to make contact with a GC vessel, which fled into the Shiun Cloud where it was lost.

At 2159 hours, Units came upon a Cryer escort ship, unknown what his purpose in Kusari was.

At 2214 hours, While conversing with the Cryer vessel, two Rogue vessels appeared and engaged with Cryer vessel.

At 2219 hours, Cryer vessel was destroyed by Rogues, who promptly engaged our forces.

At 2225 hours, Rogue fighters destroyed.

At 2237 hours, Units arrived at the border of Liberty where they stopped for repairs.



COMMENT


Seems the Liberty Navy are still ever present in the Coronado system, furthering the fact the Crayterians are working closely with them. The squadron moved to the Tau-31 system in hopes of finding more Cardamine smugglers, but instead found Bretonians and Kusarians facing off in the neighboring Tau-29 system. It is unclear why they were fighting in the first place, this could be nothing more then a border skirmish, perhaps not. We should keep an eye out. The Union Corse was notable in this engagement, as they assisted us, which as Comrade Sokurov pointed out, last time we came upon them they were our adversaries.

After our engagement with the hostile forces including the Outcasts and Nomad forces, we were suprised to find a fellow Comrade by the name of Ivan Neilson, who asked if we could accompany him through Kusari. We travelled with him until we parted ways after meeting the Cryer vessel.

During the parade outside Jiangxi, the Bretonians and Corsairs both made incursions into the system. Red Nineteenth deployed in bombers to deal with the threat, reinforcing members of SCRA who were already engaged and taking losses.

Ilya Markov, Ruka and myself engaged the hostile combatants and with assistance we rebuffed the incursion.

Additionally, during the parade I had noticed and found it strange that an Bretonian Carrier took part. It was identified as Order|CV-Armageddon, along with its escort Order|Solantheus took part in the parade. I was unsure what to make of it since the Order are our allies, but I felt I should report it nevertheless.

SUMMARY


At 1820 hours, contact made with Mercenary group known as Fae. Under the following names: Admete, Eidothea, and Hydra.

At 1842 hours, contact made with Boucher of Front de Libération de Gallia.

At 1908 hours, contact made with a Gaian known as Flora.

At 1924 hours, Fae Mercenaries depart.

At 1945 hours, the Gaian Flora departs.

At 1947 hours, unit returned to base.



COMMENT


I encountered a number of freelancers in the Roussillon system. A brief exchange revealed they are the mercenary group Fae and are working with the Maquis. The Front de Libération de Gallia seem to intend on using them to fight against the Royalist Remnants that have been spotted in the Tau region.

The Fae claimed the Borneo Mining Syndicate were housing Royalists, they didn't provide evidence for that claim. They group left before they could be properly questioned about it. I am not sure they can be trusted.

Also the Fae handed over to me a number of artifacts. They claimed to have gotten them off a Corsairs. I will see to their destruction once I complete this report.

Further talks with Boucher of the FLG identified that they are in need of personal with greater expertise in shipyards than they have available. I recommended that he go through the already established channel if he would like to request it.

Additionally, he has an interesting theory on Gallia and Kusari. Although I do not believe it is true as he describes, there maybe something to it. In short, he identified that Kusari's attack on Gallia was perfect to reunite it. Furthermore Kusari was the first House to recognise the Union and give it legitimacy. He suggests that there may have been a plot between the Royalists of Gallia and the Nobles of Kusari to make this happen.

Lastly, the Maquis do not seem to know much about the Nomads. I suspect they are very vulnerable to possible Nomad infections. It might be in our interests to give them as much information as we can about it.
