Bayonet is Not included in this rework. For the time being that ship will be staying as-is.
Since the new hacker line is entirely based around the visual design of Bayonet, reworking it makes little sense at this point. So it can stay in the mod as its own stand-alone thing, with maybe some lore fluff retroactively added to it to make it a "leaked prototype" of the new Hacker line which is now being reproduced in small quantities and sold on the grey market.
The Falchion model, while being an interesting design visually, has always been a problematic little odd duck balance-wise because its proportions don't really fit within the established norms of the snub class, that's why multiple attempts at rebalancing the ship through stats hasn't really worked. So, it was decided to tweak the mesh a bit to bring its general proportions more in line with the rest of its class, but then thanks to
Right now the 3 different ships in that line (Bayonet, Falchion, Broadsword) are of 3 completely separate designs from 3 completely separate eras of the mod. By decoupling the Bayonet from this line, reworking the Broadsword in the visual style of the tweaked Falchion, and adding a new LF as the 3rd ship of the line (with a bit of a nod to the old Falchion), this mini-BW line will hopefully actually look like one shipline at last.
Feel free to yell at me if you're actually a fan of the current Broadsword's looks and wouldn't want to see it completely reworked, and I'll try to fit somethin relatively similar to it in some other future line that wouldn't look as out of place as this line. Little change of plans: Felt like a bit of a waste throwing an existing ship in the bin for no reason, so Frozen's Broadsword is now getting remastered to stay in alongside Kuze's Falchion line (also it turned out Frozen's old Falchion is still in the game files, so that one's gettin the remaster too because why not).
