Biography
Sara "Without the H" Vandemar was born planet Denver as a second generation Libertonian. Her paternal family line traces back to Rheinland through her immigrant grandfather who sough his fortune in Liberty as a merchant. His son, Sara's father, would follow into his footsteps. Sara herself was more the adventuring type and didn't like being bound to planet Denver and work in her father's shop with her brother. Instead she dreamt of space and seeing more of Liberty than just Denver.
She took her first flight lessons at the Denver Flight Academy using the money she earned at her father's business supplemented with a loan to get her own ship, which was barely space-worthy. Still not satisfied with herself and lack of purpose, she decided to enlist with the navy to find the adventure she sought before and made her way to the military academy of Planet Denver. Here she would spend the next two years.
Seeing her proficiency with fightercraft and possible aptitude, she was transferred to Westpoint Adademy to receive training in more advanced ships than were available at Denver. This is also where she got her moniker Sara "Without the H" Vandemar, as her name was consistently misspelled and developed a habit of introducing herself as 'Sara without the H'. Her time at Westpoint was the first time she left Colorado and it would be another 4 years before she would return to Colorado a full fledged naval pilot, using the codename Hummingbird to turn the harassment about her name into something positive instead.
But the navy was not what she expected it to be. Regular patrols along the same paths got old quickly for a spirit that craved the more romantic view she had of being a pilot for the Liberty Navy. There had to be more than the monotonous outlook she had now. When the Marshalls approached her for the more risk inducing work, she didn't have to think twice than to request her transfer papers.

Biography
Born on Planet Los Angeles, to a relatively capable, but not oustanding family. Watson completed basic schools, with an IT career in mind.
His life went on normal until news of Gallia's invasion on Bretonia reached Liberty. With the possibility of a foreign invasion threatening his homeplanet, he joined the planet's main defense garrison, where he'd complete basic combat & tactics training for ground-, and limited aerial warfare.
After California was secured, he decided to not let his basic training go into waste, and joined the Liberty Navy, completing basic flight and space combat trainings. Watson was assigned to the Yukon's task force during the counter-offensive against the Betheny in Cortez.
During the main engagement, his vessel badly damaged in a dogfight, he was forced to eject via a damaged escape pod, that resulted in a messy escape attempt. During the launch, an inside-explosion seriously injured his right leg, resulting in him being hospitalized for the remained for the Gallic War.
Shortly after being discharged from the hospital, rumours about a federal police agency caught his attention. Watson decided to leave the Navy, and join the Marshals in the hopes that this new federal agency might be his thing. Coffee, paperwork, and a little amount of action here and there, withouth any kind of corporate influence is what Watson imagined as a break from the Navy.
Unfortunately the Marshals wouldn't last long enough. Hoping for an easy assignment in the Navy with no active wars going on. With his past experience, he was assigned as a training instructor on West Point, overseeing some of the new recruits that would end up with the Ohio's battlegroup.
Some months later he received a commiqué from one 'Christopher Jensen', about the Marshals resurfacing, and he was offered to re-join it, albeit not as a police force, he nevertheless decided to take his offer.
