hey i installed the modz and used the DSUpdate but the game still says he disconnected because my internet failed or the server connection failed. some1 has a solution? :)

If you cannot join any server at all it is a problem that lay with you. (Obvious right)
Do you run Vista?
If so the problem probably lays with your virus scanner.
DBoy have posted a great useful topic worth checking out (including bad virus scanners, and good virus scanners)

If thats not the problem try checking out if a firewall disallows your internet to connect with Freelancer.

I literally just fixed the same exact problem with my computer.
Follow the tutorials exactly and your game should connect perfectly.

I've got a similar problem, which is the Disco Freelancer server doesn't show up on my list after my update, but the USA one does.
What could be causing this problem?

Did you install the mod with FLMM?
Did you use FLMM 1.3?
Did you install 4.85 Beta 4 using FLMM?

Did you install with administrator privileges?
Do you run the game with administrator privileges?
Do you have a firewall - is it blocking Freelancer traffic (UDP port 2302)
What virus scanner are you using? Many virus scanners don't like Freelancer. If you are using AVG, uninstall it and get another one - I like Avira.
Can you see any other servers?
