SUBJECT: Combat in Kyushu System.

During the regular patrol in the Kyushu system with Zuiryu we have encountered the Outcast Battlecruiser on a close radius to the Planet Kyushu. Zuikaku and Zuiryu have engaged the Outcast Battlecruiser and successfully terminated it without heavy losses. Later that day, we have encountered the GC bomber wing near Planet Kyushu with the two Outcast fighters. They have engaged us, but after not a long period of a fight, Zuikaku has managed to neutralize one of the GC bomber. After one succeed neutralization, the GC wing ran away with the understanding that they can terminate neither Zuikaku nor Zuiryu

SUBJECT: Corsairs in Sigma-19 System.

During the patrol in the Sigma-19 with Zuiryu we faced two Capital ships of the Corsair origin - Santa Muerte and Triunfante and one Civilian Bomber-class Vessel under the Corsair IFF: Planetary. Corsairs dared to claim Sigma-19 as their controlled system. One of them called itself Taurus, but they don't have any manners, as other Cretans I've met. Despite our status with them, Corsair forces have provoked us to attack them. Glad, the Kusari Naval Forces ship "Katsuragi" arrived just in time and they have engaged our units. Katsuragi has covered both Zuikaku and Zuiryu. The outcome of the fight was predictable: they have lost without casualties on our side. After the fight, we returned back to the Honshu system Both Audio and Visual evidence attached below.

SUBJECT: Dragons' Aggression in Honshu

On a regular flight to New Tokyo "Zuiryu" caught transponders of two KSP vessels who were chasing an alleged contrabandist. We moved in to render possible assistance. Unfortunately, the interceptor of the police was taken down. The police capital vessel disengaged upon collecting the life pod of the interceptor pilot. The contrabandist quickly retreated from the scene and our ship was not optimal for a pursue operation.

Apparently, these developments near Shinagawa station alerted local Blood Dragons patrol and we caught a lone bomber of the rebels in the vicinity. Yet again, not considering a lone snub-scale vessel a threat to the station, we left New Tokyo for Honshu, leaving the Dragons to the police. It was a surprise, when the Dragon bomber followed us together with a freelancer under a moniker "Haiku Massacre". Living up to his name, the freelancer indeed made an honest attempt at declamation of his "poetry" which, to my not so sophisticated yet used to traditional Kusarian poetry ear sounded bland and lacking taste. He caught our attention, however, when his freighter interrupted the trade lane from New Tokyo -> Honshu jumpgate to Yukawa Shipyard in apparent assistance to the Dragons. Quite soon enough the dragon reinforcements arrived - another bomber and a lone capital ship, allegedly of "Togo" battleship class. Our luck was in early notification system which alerted the crew of "Zuikaku" stationed nearby. The combined force of "Zuiryu" and "Zuikaku" was sufficient to dispatch a bomber and the capital vessel. The remaining dragons, namely one of the two bombers from the beginning of the skirmish, as well as another bomber which came mid-fight, "Raijin", retreated from the battle alongside the "poet"-freelancer. It seems, sole fascination with art is not enough to taunt the servants of the Emperor into making reckless mistakes during the fight. Or, perhaps, it was the supremacy of the incoming for assistance of IKN "Katsuragi". Regardless, the rebels were driven back and the order was restored.

In eternal servitude to His Imperial Majesty and the Empire of Kusari,
Koushaku Shimamori

SUBJECT: Tau 29 Combat patrol.

The KNF recieved a distress call from Fukuoka. A Kusarian corporate base was under attack in the Tau-29 system. I inmediatly attended the call and reunited with KNF forces in the T-29 Gate.
Gallic forces were about to siege Shinkaku station but we got there in time. KNF capital ships managed to drove out the agressors.
After a fierce fight with a gaul bomber, my ship got disabled, lucky for me Captain Takeda from the Battleship "Hakaishin" arrived just in time, I managed to dock in its hangar bay... I will always be grateful and indebted to him.

SUBJECT: Tau 29 Combat patrol

It is most unfortunate and troublesome that the Gallic forces decide to continue the needless hostilities after the peace has been reached. Arigatou for the information, "Yanagi". It saddens me that my prediction of further tensions in Taus continue. Normally, I would be against the Clan involving into skirmishes with the Gauls in the Taus. However, this time the Gauls encroached on our space in Tau-29 recognised as such prior to the Kusari invasion into their homeland. If such situation arises again, we cannot help but resist and stand firmly to protect our people. You did the right thing. Perhaps, with time diplomatic solution will be found to remedy such unfortunate developments. Peace with the other Houses is of utmost importance for prosperity and stability of the Empire.

SUBJECT: GC and Blood Dragon fight.

During the regular patrol in the New Tokyo system I've encountered a GC fighter trying to pirate a BMM miner ship. The result was obvious - a GC fighter was terminated. Later that day with the Freelancer "Antifragile" we've encountered two Blood Dragon ships. One of them used one of the Naval Wyverns. During the fight, First Blood Dragon, who possessed Naval fighter was terminated quickly, however, Freelancer was shot down from the second Dragon. After a tough fight, I shot down the second one, however, my ship was heavily damaged. I returned back to Honshu for repairs.

SUBJECT: GC and Outcast fight.

During the regular patrol in the New Tokyo system I've met a slacking GC fighter, trying to get some luck in piracy near Jump-Gate leading to Kyushu. I engaged a GC fighter, named Kirisame. During the fight, She fell into the Mine trap and nuked herself. Later that day An Outcast Gunship was spotted at Fuchu Prison. I have immediately flown towards Fuchu and eliminated a gunship on my own. My Umibozu had several damages. After repairs on Renzu, I returned to Honshu,

SUBJECT: Intercepting HS Outcast Transport / Conversation with the KNF

Akechi-san, I thank you for your service to the Clana and the people of Kusari. The daring attack of the criminal scum near the prison is alarming but as long as we have skilled pilots like yourself, there is nothing to worry about.

While the GC remain a regular sight in Kusari, the outcasts seem to be getting bolder. I have recently seen two HS- tagged vessels in Kyushu system. Surprisingly, those were two transports hauling xeno artefacts. The outcasts spreading the orange cancer are an expected sight, yet the outcasts dealing with the traditional trade of the Hogosha and their Corsair counterparts is a rare sight. Or maybe, it indicated the readiness of the Maltese to step in a new market to rival their Cretan nemesis, although apparently their selling point was somewhere in Liberty. Perhaps, this information can be useful to the Hogosha and our recent contacts among the Corsair lords. One of those vessels I managed to intercept and forced to drop the artefacts in space. There was no need for extra bloodshed so we drove them back to the Taus. The logs of the encounter are provided herein.

Speaking about the Corsairs - I believe there are indeed prospects of striking a peace deal with them. I have had a pleasant chat with a military officer stationed in the norhern space. The officer did not seem to mind peaceful relations wit hthe Corsairs as long as they do not overstep their boundaries. So perhaps, the public image for the peace deal can be favourable. The limitation, however, is that the officer in question mostly deals with the Blood Dragons and the Golden Chrysanthemums, not with the Corsairs, so the perceived image of the Cretans might differ from the one of those dealing with them more often in Honshu. On a side note, the officer reported less sights of the Dragons, which is always good for the stability of the Empire. However, apparently, the Dragons nowadays opt for non-violent subversion methods and try to convince the KNF pilots to defect to the Dragons. This is disturbing, although not being able to offer much, I doublt they can cause a substatial number of defections. The logs of the conversation are provided below.

SUBJECT: Cardamine Smuggler

On the regular patrol in the New Tokyo system I have encountered the Cardamine Smuggler "Sephenis" - a Serenity transport. He was transitting the Kusari space with contraband. According to Kusari Law, I make him to drop Cardamire and escorted him to Tau-23 system. After that I returned back to New Tokyo.
