Admiral Garan,

This is Commodore Zakaryan from INS Thunderbird, Battlegroup Inquisition. I decided to open and keep this channel openned, waiting for your answer regarding our proposal. I understand the difficulty of such decision and have patience, however, I hope you will not make me wait way too long.

Your proposal much less your appearance in our space has come to us as a surprise. It is also very vague to where we can reasonably question your motives. You will have to go into more detail as to how you wish to "cooperate" with the Republic.

Even past that we can not trust the Insurgency nor you, despite it seeming that you wish to break off from the main force. Actions directly against the Crayter Republic support this. We have seen INS ships fighting with Auxesia in direct attacks against Crayter military, and even with Outcasts supporting them. I had far more reason to blast all three of your capital ships, screaming insults, and leaving them for junker scrap.

That being said, we want to learn in full detail of your proposition to fight against outcasts. You have raised eyebrows on my side and have my attention.

I recommend you do not enter Crayter space until further notice.

That is all.

Admiral Garan,

Insurgency's structure is not as solid as yours, and each battlegroup has differences. The one you talking about is most likely the largest, that has odd course as for my taste and opinion. We are smaller, and we shall not speak on beahlf of Insurgency whole but the Inquisition only.

However, I believer that demonstration will have better effect and will speak more loudly than any other words. Would you like to join our little raid we want to perform on compromised Outcast convoy coming with Cardamine to Cortez on days? This will show that some of the enemies we share are same.

Though we still have our suspicions I will take your word for it. Your offer of me joining is accepted, but I can not be there myself due to my rank and responsibilities. We will send an official observer to watch, analyze, and fully asses what you have to offer. This observer is not to be harmed in anyway by any of your people of course, naturally. Depending of the outcome we can make future plans but nothing is promised.

Should this be seen by the prying eyes of liberty all accountability will fall to you Commodore Zakaryan. We never knew you.

That is all.

Admiral Scott Garan

Admiral Garan,

While waiting for your answer, I managed to earn a promotion to the rank of Vice Admiral, change ships, and even hit a flying lunatic named "Forgotten" in Kepler. Nevertheless, I am glad to hear a positive response regarding your participation in the planned operation.

My ship, the Thunderbird, will act as host and coordinator for the operation, remaining hidden in one of the ice clouds of Cortez. You can bring one of your own carriers forward if you wish, or take advantage of the hospitality of mine: I think we can fit one wing of your interceptors, fighters, or bombers.

The essence of the operation is extremely simple - a lightning strike on a convoy, destroying or capturing transports and escorts. At least one gunship will be present on the battlefield, acting as a long-range transmissions suppressor so that their allies in the region will not have time to send reinforcements, and in general will not know who attacked them. We expect the presence of an enemy support gunship, but do not guarantee it. The cargo of the convoy is a huge shipment of Cardamine, but the destination is unknown, but I suspect Alcatraz.

We cannot allow the suppressor ship to be destroyed, or even one of the ships to escape - then the entire operation would be jeopardized, because we do not have enough strength to compete with the swarm of junkies and other rabble that these mutants have taken over. We need to act quickly and decisively, but I'm starting to repeat myself.

Do you have any questions or suggestions?

My apologies Vice Admiral. Though I believe you understand that duties can pull you away from personal interests.
Fortunately/unfortunately Outcast smuggling routes have continued use should they go uninterrupted, and the chance to hit them is still there. We will send a strike team to meet you in the ice clouds. You can coordinate with them to intercept the next large shipment. The suppressor should be on one of your gunboats, seeing that you may already have it ready. We can not risk any larger assets to assist in this matter. I believe my men can do what's needed to secure the operation.

That is all.
