I need help.. I purchased a Survey Module MKII from a player yesterday.
Since mounting it, I have lost most of the cargo space on my Osirus. I do not even have enough space to unmount it, or store enough fuel do perform a survey...
Have I been had by another player, or is there something I am missing?

Some of the advanced gear takes up cargo space, and even more cargo space when its unmounted.
To unmount and transfer it, first unmount and remove other gear that takes up cargo (like armor upgrades and other stuff), then unmount the survey.

There must be something I am missing then... at this point with the knowledge that I have, the survey unit is unusable, unless I unmount some things like my armor upgrade just so that I have the cargo room to carry the fuel that the survey unit needs.
Most of the Surveys require you to have a friend on a transport with the fuel to feed you it.

If you really want to get rid of the Module, you can find someone trustworthy to help you get the device off via Player Owned Base, where you sell it to there, and retrieve the item on another character.
DO NOT DO THIS WITHOUT THE BASE OWNER TO HELP YOU OR YOU WILL LOSE THE ITEM.
