Full Version: Cant work out what is incompatible

Recently came back to disco after a break of several years so my knowledge of game mechanics is very out of date, so forgive me if I have missed something obvious.

Bought a Border Worlds Transport and kitted it with the following:
2x Transport Pulse Turret
9x Civilian Transport Turret
Sentinel CM Dropper
4x Grey Cargo Pod (Class 4)
Medium Transport Graviton Shield
Thruster
Zt-170 Engine Mk1 (Class 5)
Adv. Deep Scanner
Interspace Commerce ID
Universal Ship Armor

I'm getting the message about incompatible tech, but I cant work out what it is. As far as I can get, everything should work just fine. But after an hour of dismounting things, selling things buying different things, undocking and docking again I just can't work out what is wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.
It's the ship itself. It's in the borderworlds tech cell, which Interspace Commerce doesn't get 100% core on. You can use this to quickly check which ships are compatible with which IDs: https://lh.discoverygc.com/software/compatibility

It is generally quite accurate though may not always 100%, but you can verify using this if necessary: https://discoverygc.com/techcompat/techcompat_table.php

It's not against the rules for you to fly the borderworlds transport on the IC ID, and you can continue to do so, just with the reduced powercore. Alternatively you can use the above links to find a ship to switch to for 100% power, if you'd prefer.

I had a nasty feeling that was going to be the case. I guess I'll continue using it until I end up somewhere I can switch to something that is compatible.
