A talk about the future
Good afternoon Iris,
As I promised I am contacting you with a bit of new information and a brief explanation for your engineers. If they understand it I can't tell but I hope you have capable people with you.
So first of all. The guns I mentioned the adapted blasters and cannons could basically be delivered at any time and to almost any location. We could also offer you the blueprints so you can modify them to your heart's desire, as those are more or less black-market commodities. However, this always includes that the price is right of course.
As for the explanation of plans if you choose to let me modify your ship.
If you or one of your engineers have any questions that you think should be more elaborated on feel free to ask. I will only say that I can't tell you everything about how the core is working for obvious reasons. If you have no questions or think those upgrades are worth it for yourself and your people please feel free to make us an offer so we can discuss the next steps.
With best regards,

Everything within this document is strictly confidential to Iris and her leading Engineers.
Current status. According to Iris most of the blueprints of the so-called obsidian vessel are either not complete or wrong on purpose to deny potential recreation or modification of the ship. However, with the means to upgrade the said ship, we should reverse engineer unnecessary or "underdeveloped" parts anyway to find the best suitable way of fitting the new upgrades inside of it. With that, we should be able to essentially make a stronger variant without creating a modified look.
Once this process is completed and the needed measurements are done we could start with the refitting of the top-of-the-line technology. In accordance with Iris's complaints about the said ship, I and my team considered closely what upgrades could and or should be done.
As of now, our main concern is the overall power core, the good news is that the current core installed will most likely be a bomber-sized one. The good news about that is that there should be more than enough space to fit one of our experimental cores. So about that. We are currently still working on the prototype and it will be most likely that said prototype will not be available as an offer to you. Instead, you would be given the first gen that will be more producible. Now you might wonder what is special about those cores that we plan to produce. So first of all our main goal is to at least double the output of a regular nuclear core, the secondary goal is to completely negate the need to refill said core with any kind of fuel. Now, we don't have the plans to make them actually last for an infinite amount of time but we plan to create the core in a way so it surpasses the regular life span of a Fighter ship. We achieve this with a special compound that is also currently used in the prototype guns mounted on my personal ship. As of right now, it is also used to power a few stations, however, we are working on this core as a prototype for a simple reason the core that powers stations are far too big to fit any ship smaller than a carrier according to our calculations. This is why we are currently working in our laboratories with newly found materials that should help us to create a much smaller and denser core than the original ones. If we manage to successfully develop such a core it should be fairly easy to create a version that will fit the ships you desire to refit. As of the current status of the development of such a core, we are still exploring the physical abilities of a new exotic conductor material that would enable us to create much denser varieties of similar core layouts.
Our next concern is the engines. As they might suffice for a bomber class type ship it will be easily outperformed against smaller more agile crafts which is a problem considering that the original ship was built to fight against big targets. This is not only because of its size but also because of its low-speed heavy thrust concept. To counter that we could refit current Rheinland bomber engines to accept the new core as a fuel source. This would allow us to achieve around the same top speed but it would heavily improve the agility of your ship. Current plans would also include creating a pressure-like system to use for air from the life support system to give it additional directional thrusters. With that, on spot turns or turns while the EK is engaged would be significantly faster which would allow you to easily dodge enemy projectiles.
As for the more mainstream kind of upgrades. We would strongly urge you to upgrade to a more sophisticated scanning and life support system. I'm sure you paid a lot of credits for that kind of premium ship but we do find those two systems, particularly lacking in performance. As you haven't given us any clearer view of the blueprints we think that this as an initial sample should be sufficient for your engineers.
