Hi people, I recently rediscovered this beautiful game and the even more beautiful upgrade / mod. Just one question, is there a limit to how much I can trade with a Freelancer ID? I know there is cargo restrictions, but do I need a trading ID or is it fine as long I don't know which faction to affiliate with?

Welcome! Freelancer ID is fine for trading as long as you keep cargo limitation in mind. You can have solid income even on a freighter if you use freighter-only routes like Cardamine to the planet Manhattan's landing site (on the dark side of the planet) and VIPs from site to Malta
not sure what you mean by that, but usually freelancers dont have a certain amount of runs they can make or anything, just they cant have massive cargo trains. I also don't think there is a trading ID anymore...
