After the last unsuccessful large scale raid on Syros, the Rheinwehr has resumed its tried and true strategy of smaller-scale belligerence. The main aim of this approach is to continually pin down the Corsair forces, and give the opportunity to individual taskforce commanders to show their tactical mettle.
However, the Deterrence captains and admirals have been getting ever better at naval warfare. With the rift between Rheinland space and the Omicrons still open, some in its High Command see this as an opportunity to in turn bleed the Rheinland war machine while there's still time to do so. At the very least, the battleground proves to be an excellent place for seasoning up-and-comers for the more important engagements with the Maltese fleets. And if less hulls return from the metal-grinder than are going in - that's just the price of excellence.
Combat Area
In Munich, sector F2, 10K above the plane, in Omicron-Xi, sectors A/B-6/7. The upcoming engagement will take place in Omicron Xi.
Date & Time of the upcoming event
Saturday, May 14th, 8PM UTC
Future events will alternate between Saturdays and Sundays, and between early and late evening UTC, as much as possible.
Dispositions
This table will be used to track the current fleet effectiveness of both sides. In future events, capital ships which were previously put out of action are considered to be under repair, and using them for an event is quite dangerous. If a ship gets put out of action while being under repair, it is considered heavily damaged and is removed from its side's disposition. Kaiserliche Rheinwehr |

General rules for each event
- No cloaking.
- No docking / repairs / rearming.
- Combatants must stay in-system in the designated sectors. Retreating from the sectors is allowed, but this means you cannot re-engage for the duration of that event. Anyone deliberately proceeding too far behind enemy lines (more than one sector deeper into the system) is considered to be put out of action for the purpose of that event.
- Red (off-map and H-file): retreat for both sides
- Red (G4): overextend for RM, retreat for DTR
- Red (all other sectors on map): retreat for RM, overextend for DTR
- Yellow: buffer zone - try to get back to the event zone
- Green: event zone
- Red (off-map): retreat for both sides
- Red (A4): retreat for RM, overextend for DTR
- Red (all other sectors on map): overextend for RM, retreat for DTR
- Yellow: buffer zone - try to get back to the event zone
- Green: event zone
- Red (off-map and H-file): retreat for both sides
- Events end when the designated sectors are clear of hostiles for one side.
- After each event ends, there is a 10-minute grace period. After this, all ships are considered to be fair targets for anyone in the vicinity (regular server rules of engagement still apply).
