The Campaign Tour

Overview

With the Crayter election season in full swing, each candidate is vying for their mark on the populace to prove their worth. With opponent Joshua Ellis making seemingly daily rallies to rile support for his campaign, Governor Arron Stone has organized a lengthy tour to appeal to Crayterians across the local region, regardless of the dangers associated with reaching them.

Boundless dangers may threaten the tour, though, and while the selected liner to ferry the Governor and his entourage may have been designed with defense in mind, it is but one ship. In order to reach as many Crayterians as possible, the tour will be announced to the wider regional public, for good or for naught.

Event Date:

Friday, March 24th, 19:00 UTC

Allowed IDs:

All IDs are allowed, but limitations of ZoIs may prevent some from participating in certain areas of the route.
All ship types are allowed as well, but please consider other players when picking your preferred gear.

Event Rules:

This is a roleplay event, but that does not mean that combat is disallowed. Due to the tour's publicity, hostile factions may attempt to ambush or accost the convoy at any time during its travels. Players that die in defense of the convoy will be allowed to rejoin once the convoy moves to a new system, regardless of time since death. Likewise, players that die assaulting the convoy will also be afforded the same luxury, again regardless of time since death. This part in particular may need admin approval.

Attacking the liner directly is highly discouraged. Pirating it or holding it for ransom is still viable.

Game Plan

The convoy will gather at Sabah Shipyard in Coronado. The event time will be the time of departure.

The convoy will travel a predetermined route to each stopping point, where the convoy will halt for roughly fifteen minutes to allow for roleplay or combat.
Once the convoy returns to Sabah, the event will be considered over, and normal rules will apply once more.
