The Omicron Nu Defense!

Liberty's open (Super Gate enabled) incursion into the Omicrons has been plagued by disasters. From stranded fleets fighting each other for resources, and strange xeno-origin diseases, Planet Marshall disappearances to officers going crazy and aggressively attacking everyone for no apparent reason it took Liberty forces and corporations a good part of the previous two years to even begin calling the Supergate connection a success. All these issues have started clearing up in recent months, and Liberty has once again started to use the door it opened to the Omicrons.

This however did not escape the attention of the locals. If Liberty begins to feel safe and secure in Omicron Nu, it would be only a question of time before they would step on the toes of the Corsair Empire. With the Insurgency Campaign drawing to a close, it can be expected that the natural resource-poor house with military spending at an all-time high would look to the Omicrons for finding answers to its natural resource independence.

With some of the Insurgents escaping to the Corsair Empire, the Corsairs are very much aware of the growing threat. They have been brought the news of the "win at all costs" mindset of some of the Republic of Liberty's top politicians and admirals, as proven by the sacrifice of the Battlegroup Delaware in exchange for breaking the Insurgents. The Corsairs simply cannot afford Liberty to settle in Omicron Nu freely, and risk their expansion and joining territories with their Core allies. With the Outcasts opportunistically working with the Core, the Corsairs see they have no alternative but to strike . . .

The event
At 18:00 On Thursday 27 April Sirius time (//UTC)
The Corsairs gather in the Northern part of Omicron Nu and proceed to strike the Liberty Forces(Navy/LSF/LPI/Corps) in the super gate exclusion area. Supported by the Order

Liberty Forces gather near the Supergate and try to repel the assault and crush the Corsairs. Supported by the Core.

The other Omicron natives like Nomads and Outcasts play an auxiliary role and try to balance out the engagement of course AFTER the main engagement has started - try to bring more Corsairs/Liberty Lawfuls please.

None, no need to sign up - you can leave feedback. Please try not to restock, this is just a mess of a fight. Show up at 6 PM this Thursday and engage in the carnage. Outcasts and Nomads should be the balancing sides that shoot the currently stronger side.

Idk who created a text for this event, but why you think, that Core will support Liberty expansion in Omicrons, or Order will shoot Liberty lawfuls? Please, next time try to contact a factions, before you post something like this... May be we want to shoot Luberty, who knows?

You can shoot who you want to shoot this event, we just want a big somewhat balanced fight so keep that in mind! Writeup is just a rough guideline. Show up, let people gather, and then enjoy the carnage! It's not a signup event, just an incentive for people to come. Main body should be Navy vs Corsairs with 3rd parties balancing the fight out. It's not house space either, so Liberty Lawfuls cannot do RP consequences anyways! We can adapt other events based on what happens. Whether Liberty Navy wins or wins even harder (shots fired, bam bam). We obviously count on our trustworthy Core allies!

Also note: if other factions like AI, BHG, and even Liberty unlawful or foreign intel ships want to come as well then by all means! Event conclusion writeup will reflect what happens. Just keep balancing the fight out in mind.
