Greetings. Seems to me there should be a way around this problem.
I saw already plenty complaints from members about this .
Defender is ok for gameplay, but not for corporate level.
In the past, this has never been a problem, so try to solve it.

The defender is picking it up as a trojan now

For me no I have defender and it is not picking any trojan about this DLL

If this picking any sort of virus/Hacktool or something on your Defender just allow it it cant harm your PC
yeah I restored it that's why I can still log in to the server
