A place where BMM employees wash the dirt out of there lungs with a good drink. Miners are not men and woman of regular reports. They work often long hours in the Mining Fields. When they come home, they don't waste time, spending hours on redundant reports, they are more often found in the Golden rock a pub on Thames outpost, discussing the events that transpired amongst themselves. "Upper Caste" Miners and regular employees sit down and enjoy a good glass of beer, scotch, or even the good ol' tea with crumpets. In the past, BMM used a reporting terminal to document the events that transpired, but the bar now relies on the collective memory of BMM, including some reporting terminals (but that's discussed later).

The Golden Rock is a typical pub, designed after an old English earth pub from drawings found in the archives. It is furnished for miners' pure luxury, leather seats, a massive bar in the back where at any time two bartenders work and serving a wide variety of known drinks. upon occasion, some Gallic shipments bring its exotic wines and the such. For reporting purposes, several tables are equipped with a hyperdyne TX-10 reporting terminals which can only accessed by BMM employees that need their access code to fill in daily reports. On a other wall a decent size holographic screen shows all the news. On a free spot on the wall, some miners have set up a darts game with on the board containing the face of the Kusari emperor. It it is riddled with holes. Often smoke from pipes and cigars fills the pub sealing. However, Management is working on fixing the ventilation system to fix that.

What started as a small mining operation grew out to a quite a large one.
We were able to extract grid EsG-5.4/A for 45%.
Only in the end some corsair visitors tried to interfer in our operation and damaged one of our transporters badly, altough damaged the brave captain decided to continu hauling goods to the refinery on New London.

We could close this operation with succes.

This operation was one giant succes.
A few days ago our scientists discoverd a increase of ore in several fields.
We immediatly sended out some survey ships to investigate this.
We discovered indeed a great increase of ore.

Today a mining operation was started under the command of capt Rose Porter.
She was accompanied by the transport ship Culloden[T] under the command of capt Snow.
As soon turned out they were overwhelmed by the share ammount of ore that they found and Capt Porter called in for additional support.
The transporters Wheatstone and Voyager from Bowex were in the area, there headquaters directed them to the drillingside to assist.

As stated by miss Porter "These bowex lads where a joy to work with, they started to race peter trough Bretonia to get the most ore into the raffinery's, while making work a little easier due making us laugh by making comments and jokes."
"The Avalon drilled until here diamond hardeneddrills were completly demolished."

14 transports full of niobium ore were hauled to the raffinery's to support our great nation.

Well, those miner fellas in the 'Lincoln' and the 'Argyll' have been doin' a great job and filled up a Bowex transport by the name o' 'Montgomery', seeing as they have the contract to pick up tanks and whatnot from Munich.

They paid up our miners nicely, and I escorted our cargo all the way to Munich, shootin' up and scarin' off a Hessian by the name o' 'Collins' in Stuttgart, with our arse-kickin' escort scouty tactic things.

Anyways, we got through safe, those fascist fellas with the jackboots stampin' on any potential troublemakers before we entered New Berlin.

Eventually, dropped the Gold Ore off in Munich, just like the other day and made a whoppin' motherlode o' cash fer Bretonia.

On the way back, we spotted some slanty bastards, though, so I gave 'em a piece o' my not-so-friendly mind.

Well, anyways, we got into the Omegas and I comes across a Kruger miner, 'Spitzmaus'. Of course, I informed him that one needs ta purchase mining licenses from BMM to mine in the Omegas, and, ahem, charged him a nice wee million credits.

From then on 'twas smooth sailin' into Leeds, with Bowex's cargo filled up with good ol' Rheinland military hardware.

Ahem...um...er...sorry sir. Guess reports have been a little light lately. My fleet has been stationed on Cambridge for the better part of a month now. I been minin' as much as possible and havin' them Bowex boys haul the ore outta here, savin' my Hegemons the wear and tear of travel.

Expect to see my ole fleet out and about more often...Been meanin' ta steal me some Niobium from them thievin' Kusari up behind Stokes. Anyone catches me around, send me a tight-beam holler.

Te'day was a very eventful day fer our branch.
At first some very good news, it seems more and more miners are coming in fer a well payed job.
They are assigned to a hedgemonminer and headed into the fields, i hope ye'r makin some good mining hours outthere.
A tip from a miner, fellas dont only stick to those fields in Dublin, there is more profit in Bretonia space.

Well we made some good profit last few days on goldore.
Our friends from Bowex are willing to ship it out thre for us.
Keep in mind they have: the knowledge of the markets out there, the transports to ship huge loads and they got the means to get in on destination.
Make use of that to increase faster profit.

Today i sended a escort of us with one of there convoys, with the intention to see them in action and i must say iam impressed.
I did send Jessie Cross, she's buggering me fer a month now to fly'n convoy.
*grins*

She told me that they are fast and don't stop for anything.
At first two Gaians Kandur and Serpent a a ravons talon and a bomber, tried to stop the convoy with some protests and later violence.
She and mister Duke of Bowex security repelled them and made them clear to stay away from BMM and Bowex by forcing them to eject.

Good job there.

The convoy consisted of Bowex)Wheatstone who had a full load of goldore aboard.
Bowex|andrew.Duke(havoc class bomber) and BMM-Jessie.Cross.(eagle class fighter)
On there way into Rheinland there were no incidents.
On there way back they run into a ambush of the corsair pirates.
A piratetranport supported by a few fighters and bombers.
They demanded the escorts ammo, can ye believe it?.

*laughs again While getting his face closer to the screen*
It seems they have got there ammo but not the way they hoped for it.

Outnumbred the escorts stayed in place and the wheatstone could escape with his cargo.
When they entered into a fight a hunter who was in the area offered his help, miss Cross and mr Duke accepted this officer to equal the odds a little.
The focused on a pirate and open'd fire te defend themselfs, soon the realiszed the transport was supplying thim and they started to pound the bloody thing.
Mr duke was forced to eject due critical system failure.
Not much later the transport was tak'n down, it seems this made the bloody pirates so mad the increased there focus and took miss Cross down, she was forced to eject aswell.
They both told me that there was a pirate with excellent aiming skills.

Hail and hearty, the Speed Fleet made quite a haul today.

First, took out the Thruxton, and filled that Hegemon quick as a lick. Soon as I could I jumped into the Pembrey and got her filled as well.

On the way back, met a Bowex Shetland that seemed like it need to haul somethin'. After strikin' a deal, I transferred all the ore from the Pembrey and the Thruxton, and that Bowex chap hauled it to Rheinland while I went back and re-filled both ships.

After that, I ended up fillin' the Lydden and the Knotthill by the time that Bowex boy came back. Refilled that Shetland with all it could carry and sent him back on his way.

About that time, The crew and ships were in need of a bit of maintenance, so we called it a night, only shippin' back out to refill the Shetland once last time with the last of the ore.

Overall a good night. Paid the customary 50% to the Bowex chap who done the haulin', and a 5% deposit to the Bowex bank. Them Bowex boys are required to pay 10% on what they make, so when they haul fer me, I take care of half that for'em. Least I can do.

Anyway, total haul, less taxes and fees, was a bit over 73,500,000. A good day.
